是次購買的staycation package包含The Food Gallery早餐buffet及Palm Court下午茶,Palm Court的下午茶主題為「與愛麗絲共聚」(Afternoon Tea with Alice),至7月31日就完結。主題意念取材於經典兒童文學作品《愛麗絲夢遊仙境》,這作品於1856年出版,與倫敦朗廷酒店開業剛好為同一年。今次的主題下午茶每一道鹹點與甜點的設計都好夢幻,有得食之餘仲有得玩!連餐牌的設計都很可愛呢~~先選飲品,我選的是荔枝紅茶,而老公就揀Palm Court Valrhona香濃朱古力。杯具很有英倫風格,還附有額外的茶葉隔。熱朱古力的面層以朱古力粉灑上朗廷的logo,味道香滑又不會過甜。荔枝紅茶的味道香甜不會澀。鹹點與甜點一同送上,平時下午茶的三層架有齊鹹點及甜點。Palm Court的是置地三層架,分別放置鹹點﹑鬆餅及果醬。要與三層架打卡拍照的話,都要來張全身照啊~~~甜點是以花園造型的透明盒子盛載送上,仿如與愛麗絲在花園嘆下午茶一樣!鬆餅 (Scone) 要趁微暖吃,有原味英式鬆餅及提子鬆餅,配clotted cream﹑士多啤梨醬及

差不多去到尾聲,會見到透明盒內同樣用上蝴蝶及雛菊,徹頭徹尾的配合愛麗絲的主題呢!

最後就是"Drink Me", "Eat Me",前者是英式椰太妃蛋糕,面層插著的小試管內有Bruichladdich威士忌呍呢嗱蛋黃醬。食用前,先將小試管內的醬擠進蛋糕內,要當心太大力會擠到爆漿!傳統英式椰太妃蛋糕是用椰棗及太妃糖漿製成,以名字來看,蛋糕應有黏黏的感覺。但個人感覺這件蛋糕的質感較為濕潤,呍呢嗱蛋黃醬亦帶淡淡的酒香味,都算好吃!
後者則是玫瑰士多啤梨馬卡龍,馬卡龍略略偏甜一點,不太嚐到玫瑰士多啤梨味呢~~~
經過一場夢幻的享受,就要結束這次的下午茶了!令人滿足的一頓下午茶啊
