[Crab & Watermelon Tartare]
Bearing a striking resemblance to their cakes, each layer was perfectly executed to deliver a plethora of contrasting textures. The soft mozzarella cheese on top of fresh crab meat was juxtaposed to the refreshing watermelon slices and crunchy bottom layer of apple, cucumber and tomato dices, bringing the dish brilliantly alive.

[Seared Tuna with Mango Salsa]
This mouthwatering appetizer was another sensory blend of taste and aromas. The sweetness of mango, richness of thick raw tuna on the inside, punginess of black pepper on the seared outer side, topped with the earthiness of basil - evidently, each bite was packed with flavor.

[Signature Mentaiko, Crabmeat & Scallop Spaghetti]
Highlighted on the menu as their signature pasta dish with quality seafood ingredients specially chosen by the chef, we were impressed by the juiciness and tenderness of the scallops as well as the creaminess of the pasta. The salmon roe and mushrooms enhanced the taste and visual appeal of the dish.

[Slow-cooked Partridge with Pumpkin Puree]
The only non-seafood item that we had, the savoriness of the lean meat was excellently balanced out by the sweetness of the pumpkin puree and slight acidity of the vanilla strawberry (hot) sauce. Although there’s a chili pepper icon on the menu next to this item, as a person with a spice tolerance of near zero, I can safely say that it’s not spicy at all. The crispy side potatoes were also delectable!
[Watermelon Strawberry/Lychee Layer Cake]
Having tasted Black Star Pastry’s original Strawberry Watermelon Cake when we visited Sydney, we had already set high expectations and Lifetastic’s adaptation surely did not disappoint!
The juicy watermelon was definitely the focal point, but the accompanying fragrance of the dried rose petals and light rose-scented cream, plus the crunchy almond base elevated the entire experience. Compared to the slight sourness of the signature strawberry version, the lychee gave a much sweeter tropical taste.
Quite appreciated the fact that the cakes are all gluten free, and there’s even a less sugar option if you’re health-conscious. The best part is that we got a complimentary petite cake upon purchasing food items over $108!

[Sweet Dimple]
Although the avocado smoothie that we had originally wanted to order was not available, we still enjoyed the thick texture and natural taste of this fresh fruit smoothie, which was a mild mixture of berries and milk.

[Super Green]
Blended with green apple, cucumber, kale, celery and pears, this cold-pressed juice was super detoxing and probably the healthiest choice. Taste-wise, the celery flavor was quite dominant, so it might not be for everyone.
