Wednesday, definitely not my favorite day of the week. The fact of it being a day stuck between productivity and festivity makes it extra unproductive and boring. The restaurant had the walls painted in dark with windows of autumn leaves as decoration. Simple yet classy. Open-kitchen allows you watch and learn how the chef prepares your dinner.
At 8:30 pm, the restaurant was rather quiet. The friendly waiter greeted us by the door. I skimmed through the menu, and was surprised to find the headings rather suggestive. ;) *winkwink much?*
The dishes were assigned under the titles of: -Aphrodisiacs -Foreplay -Raw -Lets get it on -Cuddles (mm probably not a good idea to take your parents here.. LOL)
To satisfy our demanding tastebuds, we ordered a few dishes:
1) Black Truffle Crab Dip (黑松露釀蟹醬)- with cripsy rice cake, crab, truffle pate, cream Fraishe (10/10) , $158?
2) Prego Roll - with avocado, asparagus, sweet yam, lotus root, golden potato with spicy garlic sauce (the brown paste) 7/10
3) Spiced Hama Kama (辣燒油甘魚)- yellowtail collar, kimchi vinaigrette and curry 7/10 , $148
4) Kurobuta Pork Belly Lettuce wrap (apple, cucumber, butter lettuce, korean spicy bean paste) 10/10
5) Shimeji & Quinoa w/ Black Truffle Egg Pasta (袖珍菇黑松露蛋意粉) 8/10 , $128
After having our meal, we were invited to check out the gallery next door-a branch of naked. If your looking for anything but ordinary, fine, and artsy dining experience, this is the place for you.
