【Starters】
The selection of starters is rich, as there are six items with different attributes. For crispiness, the spring rolls, spicy chicken wings, perfect for an afternoon chill with a beer. For something refreshing and simple, there's green papaya salad, or red curry with flatbread to whet the appetite.
【Main Courses】
Choose from 5 available options, including chicken minced curry fried rice with egg, chicken/beef fried rice; or red curry with jasmine rice/noodles (with chicken/vegetables), which is also suitable for vegetarians.
A personal favorite is the fried green papaya and tofu with jasmine rice/noodles. It's not often to finds fried green papaya, crispy on the outside and soft inside, refreshingly crunchy, almost like eating Japanese vegetable tempura, truly enticing!!
【Lunch Set Combinations】
We tried 3 Lunch Sets this time, and both the starters and main courses are quite generous. Adding dessert makes the afternoon even more delightful, a treat for everyone to enjoy.
Spring rolls + Red curry with jasmine rice/noodles (with chicken/vegetables) + Coconut Gelato
The spring rolls are fried to a golden crisp, bursting with fillings of minced chicken, Vietnamese herbs, lettuce, and more, a rich and diverse mouthful. I particularly like the sauce, with its tangy, sweet, and spicy layers.
The red curry isn't too spicy, having a sweet hint within the heat, perfectly complemented by the coconut gelato at the end.
Spicy chicken wings + Chicken/beef fried rice + Fried banana
The chicken wings are marinated with Thai chilli, lemongrass, garlic, a salty and spicy explosion!! Those who enjoy bold flavours will surely love it~ and the chicken skin is fried to a crisp thickness, incredibly crunchy, with a strong presence that's truly satisfying.
The fried rice is spot-on, each grain distinct and pleasantly dry, if you have difficulty in choosing, it is an appetising choice for an appetiser. On the other hand, the fried banana brings a pleasant surprise, fried to a golden crisp, condensed milk on the surface brings the sweet and elegant smell and flavour.
Green papaya salad + Chicken minced curry fried rice with egg + Fried banana
I usually love ordering papaya salad when eating Thai food, it's crisp, sweet, and tangy compared to other salads, enhanced by dried shrimp, peanuts, tamarind seasoning, very appetising. The curry fried rice shines with a sunny-side-up egg, mixing the egg yolk with rice is instantly satisfying.
Upgrade offers~
+$118 for the upgraded Tom Yum noodle soup, with a unique sour and spicy flavour.
+$138 for Vietnamese beef noodles, the stock is rich in beef flavour; for an additional +$58, there's also a smooth and tender beef marrow.
