其實之前已去過食晚飯, 水準好好 .所以那日星期六 , 去試一下午餐.我叫了個set , 豬軟骨烏冬,3串串燒,前菜.......鶏亦大不如前,又乾又瘦,免治鶏肉串冇以前咁爽. 釀冬菇ok good... 但個豬軟骨烏冬就好好味,湯底好好,豬軟骨又好腍. 成個餐40元( 要加10%) , 即是44元...就好抵既....都可以再去.希望下次鶏亦會肥返啦.

平時這裡的串燒一點都不便宜,相比之下,那個午市套餐-串燒飯就抵食得多了,所以,決定點了這個串燒飯($78)和一客「滑蛋雞扒飯附送是日串燒」($38)。滑蛋雞扒飯的滑蛋實在是馬馬虎虎的,雞扒的份實在不太多,味道一般。不過,串燒卻出色得多了 ! 可能是有失,就必有得,我坐的一張二人桌,可以一邊欣賞師傅燒串燒、一邊享受食物,原來這樣也是一種樂趣 。 大家下次去的時候,也可以考慮下坐吧桌的位置哩 ! 首先端上的是燒鰻魚燒和冬菇,之前有食家認為燒鰻魚太咸了,我卻認為香而濃郁的鰻魚汁,把鰻魚的個性完全帶出,可能大家的口味不同罷了! 不過那個冬菇反而不太適合用來當燒物,冬菇本來是鮮味香濃的,燒過後導致太乾而流失了原本的味道,如果是散叫的話,叫燒冬菇就可免則免了 ! 至於露筍豬肉卷,這是我其中一個踏入「明串燒」的原因,不過質素還是被我高估了,雖然露筍有甜甜的汁,加上燒過的豬肉片,好像不錯的樣子,不過吃得多也是會厭的。之後的燒雞軟骨比之前在沙田的「鐵板」遜色得多了,軟骨的質感並不爽口,把整個串燒破壞了;而雞肉蔥串,由於本人不吃蔥,這個便變成普的雞串了,雞肉的味道並不濃,不太特別,也不太討好。似乎串燒的質素都被的先前高估了。不過,最後上的燒雞翼及燒銀雪魚終於沒令我失望,燒雞翼是必食的串燒,雞皮微燶而香脆,雞肉嫩滑可口,是串燒之中的不二之選 ! 但是,全日最意想不到的是最後上的燒銀雪魚,無想到燒的魚仍然令魚質鮮甜嫩滑,而不失香口的味道,火候亦恰到好處,好正!

最後,雖然串燒的質素乃屬平平至中上的位置,「明串燒」亦是值得一去的開飯之選。若服務可以更勝一籌,相信「明串燒」一定能成為銅鑼灣的明日之星。

overall pretty good experience. food was pretty good, the skewers had some different dishes. what was good was the chicken skin, beef tongue, chicken wings w/ foie gras inside, lamb. the rest were average. after 10pm they have a bunch of skewers for $10 each. not bad. the seating was comfortable, much less cramped and smelly/smoky compared to some other japanese skewer places. with a 20% off coupon, the price was OK. otherwise it's slightly on the high side. with a 20% off coupon, the price was OK. otherwise it's slightly on the high side. Yes agree some of the dishes had a bit too much salt sprinkled on top. but generally skewers are to be eaten when you are drinking lots of beer/shochu so i didn't have any problems with it.

The food served is quite similar to 真串 but here they a have wider selections. However, the taste of the food are rather strong which overpower the fresh taste of the ingredients. After eating several dishes made me very thirsty already.The resturant atmosphere is not too good. The seats are crowded. For the $ they charge, I would expect a more comfortable eating environment.

經過此店見個外觀似中東人派傳單送 chicken wing, 見好少食串燒做 lunch, 就日來試!試左鰻魚飯, 正常質素, 但佢送的串燒就仲正. 剛剛燒好非常之香, chick wing 燒得剛好, 個皮仲有少少crispy! 個 set 仲有二串串燒, 一個好似唔知 mug 魚禁, 好好食. 另一個係煙肉包住個茄子的野, 茄子仲好似去皮. 入口唔係點咬, 口感唔錯.$60 價錢我覺得合格有餘, 不過地點離開左最旺的地區, 加上開在經濟禁差的時間, 唔知做唔做得閒呢??

早前同兩位朋友特地到這裡試試這間新串燒店。一打開menu, 感覺似曾相識,因為實在跟南蠻亭十分相似,就連次序都好像一樣。記得曾有一個食評說這裡的師傅是從南蠻亭過來, 可能是真的。我們叫了大量串燒,有鵝肝雞翼、白膳、牛利、栗米、飯團、雞軟骨、蠔、羊扒等等。我不打算逐樣評了,因為總括來說味道是頗佳的,但又沒有什麼驚喜可言... 沒有一樣是真正令我十分回味的。這不知是不是與這裡新潮的裝潢有關,我就是吃得不夠投入。環境佈置無疑是感覺高檔,但好像沒有了日本味道... 整晚就像是在一家西餐廳吃日本菜似的。另外,我想是因為趕著開幕,所以酒牌還未辦好。天啊,吃日本串燒怎能酒?!害得我要走到鄰近超市買了兩大罐 Asahi 頂檔.... 可想而知今次串燒之行真是大打節扣。明串燒... 最需要的是一款能令人再三回味,繼而再次光臨的一道好菜色。
