After i have finished my work appointment, it was already near dinner time and since i planned to have dinner alone tonight, I decided to have dinner nearby. I walked past this shop and was attracted by their food offered. Aroydee thai 船麵 was located at Ping Lai Path, Kwai Chung. The shop was not that big and cozy, with alot of Thai drawing and decor all over the wall, like traveling to a local Thai restaurant. The shop was not that big and cozy, with alot of Thai drawing and decor all over the wall, like traveling to a local Thai restaurant.
Utensils, sauce and seasoning were placed on every table for us to take.
They served boat noodles, tom yum kung, stirred noodles, rice, hot pot, appetizers, drink and desserts.
Special Thai boat noodle style noodle soup - This was their signature noodle and certainly did not disappoint. It was huge in portion and generous with their ingredients, with fried pork skin, pork ball, sliced pork and pig intestines etc. Soup was peppery and flavourful in taste, very authentic. Pork meat were chewy and juicy while pork skin was fried till crispy. Thai rice noodle was smooth and chewy too.
Deep fried shrimp cake was fried till the skin was crispy and the prawn cake was very chewy and juicy, able to taste the freshness. Thai sweet and spicy sauce was provided to dip onto it.
Sago and coconut cream in pandan leaf - It was small and squarish in size, with the dessert sweet and smooth, creamy in texture.
