To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 鵝鹵宮推出秋冬菜式,第一次飲加入琵琶花的湯水,原來它有清肺熱、化痰止咳的功效,並與本地粟米、無花果和黑毛豬骨同煲,味道清甜滋潤。最有驚喜必定是鹹鮮馬友蒸肉餅,肥美的馬友先浸鹽水後吊乾,味道充滿鹹香,肉餅中混入蓮藕和吊片,最後淋上熟油,絕對是送飯良伴。潮州鹹菜腩肉炆白膳也非常下飯,鹹菜與腩肉同炆,最後加入白鱔,入口充滿魚油和鹹鮮味。原來咖喱配搭蘿蔔糕是新奇又好味的組合,香脆的蘿蔔糕沾滿香辣的咖喱汁,虎蝦大隻又爽口,雖然不算是傳統中菜,卻是一道十分惹味開胃、很快被清光的菜式。 continue reading

本來想去試下好唔好食,2人食得唔多,一個滷水拼盤,加一個菜,共$579重點來,我比$600,要找$20.5,佢為佐我地比小費,就一張10蚊紙,其他打散哂比我,見到果下有點呆,以為找少佐,但原來係打散咗,個職員見到我質疑佢,知道可能我唔比小費,佢竟然將啲散子,從比錢個收錢夾到掃落張枱俾我我真係超級嬲,舖頭已經收咗+1服務費,我俾唔俾小費係我嘅事,你唔係當我乞兒咁掃啲錢俾我,我以後都唔會再去食真係真心好嬲囉! continue reading

得知元朗有新商場開咗,就入左去YOHO行吓,行經見到鵝滷宮有個孖寶小菜,298平平哋入去試吓啲滷水鵝~估唔到都有啲驚喜~首先我地揀咗一個固定菜式六頭鮑魚拼海參,鮑魚食落味道都幾唔錯,同埋個口感咬落都唔韌~😋加埋佢啲海參都幾滑,不過就味道就淡啲~仲有啲西蘭花襯碟撈埋啲鮑魚汁確實一流~之後仲揀咗自選菜式~滷水鵝肉拼腩肉,d鵝肉味道都好夠,同埋個腩肉雖然睇到個脂肪都唔少,但係食落一啲都唔肥膩~唔錯唔錯~😋 continue reading
