I went yesterday afternoon with my family.
We saw it was something new and it really was hot so we decided to have some Gelato.
It was $55 for 1 scoop + 2 toppings.
We decided to grab 2 x 1 scoop cups.
So we ordered and got everything then they say "also, sorry as we don't have spoons. We only have these sticks" which were like those wooden coffee stirrers you get at a coffeehouse. The lady said to grab two each as it'll be easier to eat.
Like, no. A spoon would have been easier to eat. 🤦🏻♀️
So we now leave the shop and go around the corner to have the Gelato in the shade and that's where everything just goes even more downhill.
The Gelato just literally melted out of the cup within the 5 seconds it took to walk around the corner. The Gelato was not scooped well at all that it started running down the sides of the cup.... 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Then I watched as my daughter have a spoonful and she made this weird face. She got strawberry so I thought maybe it was just a little sour. I was wrong.
I took a spoonful I mean a stickful of mine and I it was disgusting. It was the sweetest Gelato I had ever had in my life. It was as if they made sugar syrup in the back, added a few drops of flavoring and froze it as it was. It was literally so sweet and disgusting.
I only had that one stickful and so did my daughter. It was really too sweet that we couldn't have more than that one stickful. We ended up throwing $110 worth of Gelato into the bin. Otherwise, it seemed we would be diabetic after.
I hope management or office or whatever or whoever it is can take a taste, review and understand that this is not right. This much sweetness into something that is supposed to be Gelato is not right. They also did not taste like what they were intended to be.
Please please please fix your flavors. I understand you just opened up shop and figure it won't last long should this continue.
