First time here to try the wines with a friend. He said the selections here are recommended by the famous wine critics James Suckling, although I dunno much about wine.We ordered a Cool Piemonte, which we can taste 2 Barolos and a white wine. However the white was replaced by a Mendoza wine as the original one was out of stock. The red wines are quite strong for me, I prefer the white one made from torrontes as it is more fruity and appetising. There is taste of lemon, grass and sweet too!

like sitting on the throne of Dionysus himself, the wine flows from glass to glass as your adventure through botless takes you across the globe.thanks to corauvin, basically any wine that is offered by bottle you can try by glass, it all depends on how far down the cork hole you want to go.food is good, gives you energy to drink more wine. only complaint is their selection of burgundies isn't very large, but I geuss you can't really argue with mr. Suckling.

thanks to corauvin, basically any wine that is offered by bottle you can try by glass, it all depends on how far down the cork hole you want to go.

food is good, gives you energy to drink more wine. only complaint is their selection of burgundies isn't very large, but I geuss you can't really argue with mr. Suckling.

I ordered a glass of Chateau Bouscaut Blanc from Pessac-Leognan 2011. It is with nice and rich gold colour, and strong fragrance of oak and buttery. With its great intensity and full body, the palate is round and smooth, also as attractive as it is on the nose.
Some taro chips were also given to entertain the chew, lightly salted and a good companion to the wine indeed.

So where else in HK can you drink an 97 Sandrone with no mark up from retail with a secret menu burger and fries?  In fact, the Sandrone might have been priced below some retail!  List is long with an insane number of wines by the glass.  Had the KFC (solid), prawns with a kimchee sauce (excellent) and a burger.  The latter was inhaled quickly with said Sandrone.  Simply a great combo.  Hope they have more bottles.  Was told that all the cheese comes from Neal's Yard.  All yum.  Not pure Korean,

Was told that all the cheese comes from Neal's Yard.  All yum.  Not pure Korean, but think wine friendly food with a twist.  Room had a good vibe with very notable high ceilings which makes for less noise bouncing around the room.  One notable departure from the HK norm is that when you order wine by the glass, you get proper bottle service as they bring the bottle.  Too many times you get the wine in the glass with not bottle in sight.  

Downside?  You have to look for it as not on ground level and beware the Soho drunks if you leave the place late and take the escalator down.  Could not say no to more fries.  They should put a limit on the number you can order.
