Mixing desserts with cocktails seems to be the hippest thing in town these days. If you're looking for prime examples, look no further than VEA Lounge and Cobo House by 2am who have been very successful in implementing this approach. Jerry Maguire, a small cafe, cocktail bar and dessert bar, is also following in their footsteps.

Their signature dessert mocktail, Alice the Wonderland, kicked things off for me in dramatic fashion. This looks amazingly nice. Mint leaf, pineapple juice, elderflower and magic mushroom candy combined to deliver quite a cleansing and refreshing experience for someone who's badly dehydrated (Me).

Raspberry Tea Party featuring raspberry infused earl grey tea was supposed to be my second drink (or dessert mocktail) of the afternoon but our waitress came back and said they ran out of a certain ingredient while preparing this.

So I went back and forth with the drink menu. There were just 6 selections available so it's not like it will take me forever to make a decision. But our waitress was kind of losing patience and just wanted to get this over with.

At the end, I took her advice and ordered Sage Bubble as a replacement. This was one of the most regretful decision I've made recently. Sage leaf, lemon, elderflower and sprite were the primary ingredients in this one and quite honestly, it tasted like a normal sprite with lemon. A lot of acidity and I can't believe I'm paying $68 for this!

I mean, all these painting-like desserts (think ATUM) look great and are definitely Instagram worthy, but they do very little for my taste buds. So generally, I don't eat them unless it's made by Chef Vicky from VEA. That's a different story.

兩件我最愛嘅New York cheesecake加上自家製嘅糖,靚到不得了。我係鍾意好膩好膩嘅New York cheesecake嘅,呢件蛋糕雖然質地冇想像中咁扎實,不過口感幼滑而且芝士味道香濃,食咗第一啖之後已經有好幸福嘅感覺,絕對過關!旁邊嘅Salted caramel sauce好深色好濃,加少少落cheesecake度,徘徊在似鹹又甜之間,層次豐富,不斷狂呼 '好好味... 好好味...';另外有4粒小棉花糖,靚就靚,不過甜咗啲喇

即係朱古力心太軟,上面加返個自家製橙味干邑Gelato為平凡嘅心太軟增加不少分數。心太軟一切開冇預期咁山洪暴發,但都有慢慢流出嚟,比較內斂啲;朱古力味道濃郁,甜度適中;橙味干邑Gelato我覺得好似細個食嗰隻咳藥水味,不過楚楚就話好特別好好味,所以味道呢啲野真係見人見智,雖然我麻麻啱,不過我buy佢咁有特色!旁邊嘅係Nutella碎,撈埋Gelato食又一番風味

文豪&中環儷人都唔鍾意薑,不過佢哋都決定一試。青蘋果及薑味嘅Granite口感清爽冰涼,非常適合夏天食!第一口會食到青蘋果嘅味道,咬咗幾啖之後先有陣陣嘅鮮薑味湧出嚟,好得意!雖然佢哋幾抗拒薑,但又覺得呢個薑味好易接受

Elderflower,即係接骨木花,有好似麝香葡萄嘅香甜,傳說接骨木有一股神祕嘅特質,可以驅邪!喺屋企門外種接骨木可以帶嚟好運,防止病魔及惡靈纏身... 咁神奇?!返返嚟先,清清甜甜綠色嘅接骨木及菠蘿汁就好似Wonderland咁,上面嘅磨菇仔及薄荷葉令呢個Wonderland變得更美麗和諧;入口薄荷味道超香濃,好似一口氣食好多好多粒薄荷糖咁,明明開始眼瞓都直刻醒晒!

同友人係銅鑼灣行街,見到lee garden對面蘭芳道一間新開cocktails&desserts bar環境幾好,就決定入去試試。坐低之後服務生就好友善禁過來同我點介紹tasting menu,有starter,main course,dessert,加埋杯野飲,見到價錢都好合理就叫左其中slow cook既牛仔肉set,食完之後都出乎我點意料,每一樣都好好味,最後杯mocktail都做得好靚好好飲。以後係銅鑼灣行街終於有個環境舒服適合下午茶飲野既地方了,值得推薦!

Just visited this newly opened cocktail bar yesterday with a friend for a private event. And we had a great night.

The very transparent bar located in the heart of Causeway Bay opposite to Lee Gardens. The vibe was very chill and relax. The raw while glamour interior design WOW us at the first sight. 

Fancy cocktails were amazing. Finely made with decent presentation. Taste great while still "powerful". My favorite was still the Expresso Martini. 

The little assorted dessert platter was cute that my girl freind liked that so much. Fusion desserts is a must try as well! Love the Hong Kong touch with a twist !!! Glasses and bowls or dining set they used there were all very fine and decent/ elegent. 

Bar manager Paul ( the one who made amazing cocktails! )was very friendly that he explained every drink to us! He told us that the bar is still on soft run and there are still final touch up to be done. I think that will be great when it finished. He also to me that the bar will have their grand opening and open to public in June. Can't wait to come back again.
