週六為家人充當柴可夫,午餐後負責接送大家出入跑馬地、灣仔、金鐘、中環及美孚地帶,可真忙個不停。姨媽姨丈濕平時發現金鐘新開咗間甜品店「L'Eclaire de Genie」,鮮黃色o既門面實在吸引,一心就諗住下午茶時間要買幾個閃電泡芙返屋企慰勞吓XO仔 。點知佢地五點左右再行返去買時,店員卻告知當日所有閃電泡芙已賣清 ,店子只剩餘三文治及朱古力禮盒。最後只能帶回新店o既宣傳單張俾細佬止吓痕。正當大家都有少少失望而回o既時候,表妹就由表姐家中帶黎一盒小驚喜 。原來表姐早一日正正收咗一大盒閃電泡芙,剛好雪櫃仍留有兩件,見小肥咁想試,所以就叫表妹送過黎同大家分享。可能係隔咗夜o既關係,外表精美o既泡芙質感變得腍而濕身 。兩件中,個人覺得咖啡色o既海鹽焦糖味「No. 1 Caramel Beurre Sale」甜得黎較為自然。反而綠色嗰件抹茶朱古力味「No. 144 The Matcha Bambou」就甜膩得黎好假 。由於細佬並未喺「L'Eclaire de Genie」閃電泡芙最新鮮o既時候食用,所以暫時只能單憑甜點只屬一般o既味道作下評論,請大家見諒。

我哋一齊試咗最右邊的 N°1,即係鹹牛油焦糖味,據講係熱賣款式!中間用咗馬斯卡邦奶油,混合咗鹹牛油焦糖,入口幼滑。奶油嘅甜味,鹹鹹哋嘅牛油焦糖味,兩種滋味雖然好唔同,但真係無得頂。

其他包括 N°3、N°5及 N°89(左起),試食感係由朋友匯報。N°3係香草合桃果仁味,都係大熱之一。外面係合桃同果仁,而內餡就係加咗馬達加斯雲呢拿奶油,最後仲塗咗一層焦糖係出面!聽落又幾吸引。朋友覺得都好食!

至於 N°5嘅柚子檸檬呢,睇落去超 fresh !初初食,都覺得幾清新,酸酸哋,挺特別。不過,多吃幾口後,就覺得開始有點過甜喇~~

而勁吸睛嘅 N°89又點呢?呢款係紅莓味,估佢唔到嘅係佢係甜嘅。朋友話「太甜」,甚至係「除了甜味,還是甜味~」,這真的令人有點失望呢!主要係因為裡面嘅 cream「勁甜」……

咁到底邊種最好味?朋友話係N°1鹹牛油焦糖味完勝喎~鍾意食抹茶嘅朋友唔使咁開心住喎,唔好以為今次唔關你事。因為今次  L’Éclair de Genie 知道香港好多抹茶控,於是特意製作咗抹茶味—— N°144 竹拂抹茶味的泡芙!香港限定架!快啲去試啦~~

雖然,法式泡芙已售罄;幸好,尚有小量三文治!
 但是,當時剛剛在烘焙展試飲咖啡,試食麵包及甜品,已經夠飽肚!況且,要回家食晚飯,還是買一份三文治回家留待翌日早餐吧!


付款時,女店員溫馨提示要盡快食用,否則放入雪櫃保鮮!
 翻看三文治盒底的有效日期是即日到期!

雪過的三文治包身凍冰冰!柔軟的煙三文魚帶鹹鮮,混合翠綠的新鮮菠菜,入口清新!
 當中青瓜的青爽最為突出!
 辣根忌廉混合了青蘋果、鹽、胡椒、醋...等,酸咪咪而濕潤,把配料牢牢黏實!
 令我食三文治時,不會食到天一半地一半!
 

整體口味一般!
 純粹是包裝特別吸引,以及店子的名氣來刺激我的購買慾而已!


以金鐘區來說,這份三文治價錢合理,我卻是當早餐,相對貴一點吧!

For those who's been watching TV regularly, they should be no stranger to L'Eclair de Génie. It's that famous Parisian éclair place that was featured in one of "Do Do goes shopping" 《Do姐去Shopping》's Paris episodes.

As it turns out co-founder and pastry chef of L'Eclair de Génie, Christophe Adam was in town to meet with the media and promote his latest venture. He's an amazing character with worlds of experience including work at the Michelin starred Le Gavroche (London) and Hotel de Crillon (Paris). That was followed by 10 years at Fauchon Paris before he finally branched out on his own in 2012.

Now back to my little adventure in hunting down these lovely éclairs.....so as soon as I recalled their opening, I worked so hard to wrap things up at work and immediately ventured over to Pacific Place but only to find a couple of their staff cleaning the display counter. One of them was kind enough to put a final dagger into my heart, "Someone just beat you to the last éclair a few seconds ago. We are all sold out now." she said. Yeah, that's exactly what I wanted to hear.....

 (N°1) Caramel Beurre Sale - their signature and arguably most popular flavor with salted butter caramel on top and creamy mascarpone in the middle. The choux dough was really nice but I thought the salted butter caramel was slightly too "salty" for my palates.

牛奶巧克力、榛子醬、榛子粒‧‧‧‧‧‧ 泡芙裡面仲有是比較solid的巧克力醬, 帶有一點點的鹹味,味蕾被兩種截然不同的滋味同時衝擊。


我真的不想閃電速把它吃完, 我選擇慢慢的品嚐了

碰巧經過金鐘當然要試一下這間新開的法式泡芙店。抹茶味道是香港特有,表面很薄及新鮮,流心的餡料充滿著牛油及甜味,就是沒有抹茶味,其實從其顏色已估到,可能法國廚師並不喜歡濃厚的茶味?以做工來說這件泡芙有滿分,但對抹茶控來說味道就不合格了。但是檸檬味卻非常濃厚,主要是酸味夠之餘甜味也不少襯拓得上,即時說其實吃了很多糖入口呢! 我會希望再嘗試他們其他味道的泡芙,但抹茶味就留給未聽過抹茶的朋友了。Passed by this brand new shop to try the HK-only matcha version of elciar. Passed by this brand new shop to try the HK-only matcha version of elciar. Pastry-wise there's little to challenge. Very fresh thin and crispy (prob not crispy but not soggy I would say) shell being filled with custard-like thick buttery cream. Everything looks good except the fact that there's little matcha inside. To many it's perfect but to matchaholic I'm disappointed.

However the lemon flavour was great. The citrus taste was not sparky but thick and rich (be warned, it had to be complimented with loads of sugar to reach this effect).

I would definitely want to try other flavours like the nut-infused ones, but matcha one? Leave it to ones who've never heard of matcha before.

最近新開的法國甜品店,主打E'claire,每件都做得非常精緻,定價亦可以,$38-45一件。相比macaron,要$30一粒,其實都ok!現在剛新開,每人只限買四件,試了出名的海鹽焦糖,真的好正!咸咸地但裏面cream好幼滑,正!passion fruit 味帶少少酸,適合不嗜甜人士。朱古力味上層帶一片片裝飾,味道香濃。香港店獨有的sandwich定價都唔貴,一條around $5x,下次再試!員工服務良好,每一隻味解釋detail😊

現在剛新開,每人只限買四件,試了出名的海鹽焦糖,真的好正!咸咸地但裏面cream好幼滑,正!
passion fruit 味帶少少酸,適合不嗜甜人士。朱古力味上層帶一片片裝飾,味道香濃。
香港店獨有的sandwich定價都唔貴,一條around $5x,下次再試!
