今日到太古快食,基本上每次到 Apita 買雜貨都會食丸龜,實在又平又好食。自助形式,加餸每樣都是$10-$15,另外間中都會有特別款式烏冬。不過food court 真係好多人,每次都要等位,等10-15分鐘。 而且未吃完就開始有等位,吃得有點壓力。但我每次都會選溫泉蛋烏冬,簡簡單單,醬油很濃味,面質很有口感,加少許芝麻、七味粉,頓成人間美食,溫泉蛋一定是流心的,夾著烏冬一起吃,百吃不厭,幾乎每月都吃一次。

今天要食快的午餐,天氣凍凍的,所以想吃熱騰騰的烏冬,就去咗丸龜,又可以自選配料,豐憸由人,所以經常都排長龍的。order 了湯烏冬,炸餃子及炸魚柳 。烏冬上面的脆脆是免費的 , 烏冬湯底都很清,脆脆加在烏冬上簡直是天衣無縫。 炸餃子及炸魚柳就沒有什麼驚喜, 但都不錯 。 如果有三五知己一齊食的話,便能夠分享更多不同種類的配料。清水係免費添加,另外記住食完食物要自己放回去回收站, 真是日本快餐店的作風,另外自助形式的確省卻很多時間呢!

This udon shop has been long lasting in hong kong for its relatively cheap price and assured quality of udon. I've tried many types of udon from this shop and i chose a plain one with soy sauce this time, with a piece of squid cake. You can see one thing i like is to crazily add the free toppings like onion and fried crispy. Cannot ask for more from this resto. Nice and cheap udon.

If you're coming for lunch, best to arrive earlier than 12 noon, as the food court is heaving with the Tai Koo lunch crowd anytime after then, and it's super difficult to get a seat, making noodle eating even more difficult.

This time, I tried the Beef Curry Udon, and the large bowl was generous in both noodle and curry topping. What is great about this place is that they cook the noodles right in front of you, to order, and so the bowl comes to your self service tray fresh, and steaming with mouth watering aromas. And how enticing is it that they make you take your tray past delicious looking tempura morsels that you can pick to your liking. I force myself not to grab them all, and limit my choice to one Mentaiko Onigiri today. At the end of the self service line, you can pay at the counter, and then fill up your bowl with as much ginger, shoyu, togarashi and negi as you like. Oh, and don't forget the unlimited tempura crumbs. Crumbs....mmmmm.

The noodles are perfectly chewy and suitably slurpable. The beef curry was ample and very beefy, although my only criticism would be that there is not quite enough sauce to balance the noodles. A little extra soup may have helped. Overall the Udon hit the spot, and I can totally see myself killing one of these on a cold day.

Onigiri was a small one, but the size is forgiven, given the good amount of fresh mentaiko used as topping. Too many places now serve cooked, dried or mixed versions under the same description, but this is, by far, the most authentic I've had in the area. Soft, fragrant and pleasingly salty, this onigiri feels like a homemade one. Happy!!

辣豬肉烏冬$39中size,辣油幾麻要注意,豬骨濃湯還不錯,烏冬比較粗身入口紮實,好快就飽。自助式可以加料,以炸物為主,$13追加了炸雞,醃得點鹹味。水及調味料也是自由發揮。有蔥薑蓉同炸麵粒等,也有七味粉及吃冷烏冬用的鏗魚醬油,用來蘸炸物都不俗。用完餐記得把盤及餐具放回。
