McCafe (Moved) New Location

從廣告中得知今期推廣Hazelnut Coffee心中暗喜 但店內的promote 則變為Cappuccino 將錯就錯, 反正Cappuccino 也是我喜歡的種類 加點了輕食 Blueberry Muffin 作為簡單的午餐。 人流太多, 想先搵位安頓, 於是通知店員為我送上枱 不消幾分鍾店員送上後將食物放在枱上, 氣衝衝地走開, 連一句聲也沒有, 老實說實在有點不禮貌 。 說回食物 :咖啡泡面上的字是用朱古力粉倒模出來, 相信無人不知, 奶泡出乎地棉密幼滑而且夠厚而挺身, 咖啡味道和溫度也恰到好處, 只欠點點甘香。 Blueberry Muffin : 輕微番叮過, 表面保留著點點鬆脆, 內裡還帶著濕潤的口感 藍梅酸甜味鮮明, 更能襯托出咖啡的苦澀味。

早排，自從我睇報紙得知 McCafe 以咖啡調配師調配咖啡之後，決定搵日嚟幫襯！最近，見到廣告有賣相不錯嘅新出品：薄荷朱古力咖啡，十分期待！ 趁星期一，走嚟買杯試吓！熱薄荷朱古力咖啡 (小) $24.5價錢嚟講尚算合理，我站在一旁等候，大約 3 分鐘後，店員遞上呢杯氣味香濃嘅咖啡，令我即時提神！ 將奶打氣變成泡沫，倒上咖啡面，泡沫加上朱古力漿的花花圖案作點綴之餘，亦帶點甜味。揸住咖啡杯飲，確是享受！ 紙杯不但俾唔到呢種感覺之餘，咖啡面正是精華所在，泡沫會黏住杯蓋，白白浪費咖啡調配師一番心血！此外，店內提供白糖、黃糖、給不同需要嘅顧客！一條紙包黃糖=1茶匙；攪拌之後，朱古力漿仍留在杯面！可見泡沫打得相當挺身！飲一啖，味道香濃，略帶薄荷及朱古力香味，質感細滑！令我喜出望外！洋蔥雞肉碎蛋意式包 (半份) + $8意式包烤過，脆身好香口！ 仍是熱辣辣！ 餡料為洋蔥絲、雞肉、碎蛋。熟洋蔥絲散發洋蔥香味，雞肉醃過，肉質嫩滑！ 配合碎蛋唔會感覺口寡寡！ 半份真係唔夠喉！如果，一份成十幾$，加埋咖啡，咪要起碼 $40，我覺得唔多抵！對於並非咖啡發燒友嘅我，要一讚咖啡甚有質素！朝早嘆杯咖啡，為我展開

Bacon and cheese grilled ciabatta Having bought a medium cappuccino, I only needed to add $10 for this. While it was extremely thin, it was not as crispy as it looked. The filling of bacon and cheese was incredibly plain and simple, with the bacon being the typical kind found in the bacon mcmuffin and the cheese being the usual McD’s weird orangey kind, that's kind of artificial and not really cheesey at all. Nevertheless, it wasn’t exactly that bad, and went somewhat well with the cappa.

知道Macafe有真的新出品─熱橘子泡沫朱古力咖啡$24(中)。即刻令我想起,星巴刻初打入香港時,有款Mocha Vanacia(咁上吓串法),就是橙味朱古力咖啡,超喜歡!可惜之後已沒做了。所以今次麥記出,試吓會否拾回懷繙味道!咖啡/朱古力味,論啡味,沒星記的濃厚。朱古力味少少似阿華田。只有橙味是可以的。橘子朱古力蛋糕$22>$15,其實看賣相,已知是普通cream蛋糕一件,但一向愛試新野的我,因連咖啡買,有優惠,便「順便」買埋去。那三層&側邊的橙味cream多得嚇人,但用手觸吓,那些cream卻沒想像中油淋淋,較soft。精髓相信是那朱古力外殼,如果唔係,真係好似買左,樓下麵包鋪的普通橙間啡黑三角蛋糕,咁上吓。橘子朱古力林明頓$7,金黃色椰絲面,看去很吸引。吃也是一樣的好吃!!外朕香橙味,包著超軟朱古力蛋糕。為普通的朱古力味、士多啤梨味、檸檬味、綠茶味林明頓,暫增新選擇成員!

今年的GBCHK完結了,當中季殿軍都來自McCAFE.但又不是每間老麥會有半自動咖啡機.忽發奇想想出一個只說特濃咖啡的系列.說一下個人口味上覺得哪一家是vaule of money.原本想到星光行那一家但當去到見到franke的自動機...就搞到無哂動機. 只好坐小輪渡海...去到國金.Barista Chloe送上Mc記包大杯的特濃...次次叫細杯啲都係要等部機流到single變doppio先收手.但啡師都好比心機去暖杯..精神可嘉.不過今次啡脂也不差造到一些回甘.香與味也做到了.可以叫作是無力但有心. 只是不大明白McCafe 把半自動換作自動...train咗啲啡師出嚟做咩鬼.

今朝到了干諾道中分店的McCafe。知道今期promote焦糖鮮奶咖啡$15。即管問問有無decaf(無因咖啡)。擾攘一輪,店員終於明白我想要乜野囉!一杯好好的焦糖鮮奶咖啡,給我改成decaf+skim milk後,變得不倫不類(真是無奈要這樣選擇)。稀稀的,味道比起,餐茶中的自調咖啡,好少少。唔好味,沒怪佢。加$8要了個蘋果muffin。店員加熱後微暖。鬆軟不油膩。很驚喜是,很有蘋果味!我即時覺得是用了蘋果汁混合蛋糕粉造成!加了適量的玉桂粉,簡直絕配!食食吓,仲有充滿果醬的蘋果粒,好清新的muffin啊!

As suggested by their staff, I got a Caramel Frappe (large size @ HK$26). The ice was blended evenly and the overall texture was smooth. Since it emphasises "milk base", the coffee favor was relatively weak which fit my current requirement (as plenty caffine as possible during the therapy & treatement these days). Since both caramel and coffee favor was not strong, it turns to be a really "MILK" favor. It is absolutely a good deal (HK$26 for large size) to enjoy a icy refreshment in downtown

今日收工的時候突然好想食到Panini,0係IFC呢一個勁多Panini食的商場周圍打轉之下,最後竟然光顧了Mc Cafe原因是.....惠顧咖啡加十元都可以換一件了!選了我最喜愛的Bacon Chese Panini,不過端上來的時候發覺Panini真是薄得要命!所謂的Bacon亦只不過是火腿煙肉,即係煙肉蛋漢堡0個塊煙肉入面仲有Cheddar Cheese仲蕃茄,Cheese的份量太少,變相味道唔夠濃郁但Overall以十元優惠來說,這份Panini已經不錯(以size和味道來說,如果以正價去購買,我一定不會選擇這裡的Panini)按: 沒有劃分給McCafe食客的位置,環境一欄想給負分!

周日長洲行，搭巴士到中環，經過ifc，成4:00pm都未食野餓得不得了，就去麥記解決﹗去了麥cafe，要了杯新出的Tea Latte，再加多個panini﹗Tea Latte有鍚蘭茶香，不過較得很甜，食家一向飲coffee都唔加糖的，喝了一啖後相當不滿意，成杯俾哂我飲。個Panini仲衰，佢係就係即叫即焗夠熱，不過個包個口感軟綿綿，好似食海綿咁怪怪的，同在其他地方食既意大利包煙韌而有質量口感鬆化相當不同，壓得扁扁的正方形奇型怪狀，真係油麻地﹗食家食左兩啖就棄之話好難食，要喊了﹗

There are always good cakes at McCafe, the orange mousse with chocolate is a good match, the citrusness of the orange complements the cocoa sponge.Also the mousse is slightly heavier than normal mousse mimicking the cheesecake texture. Whether the mousse is light or heavy in texture, it would still taste good.The appearance of the cake is vibrant with good contrasting colours, dark brown sponge and bright orange mousse.

My husband works in IFC Two and this is one of the cafe I often come. I had a medium sized flat white and a cake (hazaelnut or ???) at only HK$35. The coffee is big enought for me and the cake was "so-so" only. I pick here instead of Starbucks or Pacific Coffee because McCafe is less expensive.

聽了公仔箱某廣告的宣傳，所以某日路過，也來喝一杯試試看，坦白說，個人認為McCafe的加數元的阿拉伯加咖啡是還可以的，而且是比星記的還好，今天看看其Cappuccino又如何。走進店子，也看到其咖啡機及其他裝置也是對版的，可是咖啡師的樣子好像不是太有說服力，但宣傳單張說他們全都有一百個小時的訓練時間的，信不信由你了，而今天如預期的點了Cappuccino，所以也坐在旁邊等上一會。過了不久，Cappuccino也來了，看樣子很是美麗，以燒過的糖切成一個麥記的招牌M字商標，先喝下一口，真的不能教我面色一沉，豪哥似乎唔多掂啊，奶泡的厚度是夠厚，而且也很密的，但絕對不是輕輕綿綿的那種口感，是不合格的奶泡，再者，咖啡的味道也偏淡，這杯Cappuccino，真的是喝得不太盡興。怎說也好，也還是相信豪哥是愛咖啡的，但代言人終究也是代言人，也是一份工作罷了，各位打工仔，有沒有同感呢？

七月十七日(星期四)午餐決定食三文治, 行來行去, 決定試下呢度既龍蝦仔雞蛋沙律三文治, 買左呢度既最後一盒…龍蝦仔倒是幾新鮮, 幾有蝦味…以HK$26來說, 都算幾經濟實惠la, 至於飽唔飽, 因人而已la…haha…
