I had the double whammy. BBQ Pork and Shrimp with Eggs on Rice with Homemade Sweet Soy Sauce ($64). The egg was really soft and there was a generous amount of sauce that was very definitely on the sweet side. The only thing is the char siu was a bit dry. The shrimp was fresh but they only gave me three. A bit stingy I think. But it was the char siu that really disappointed me.

Boyfriend decided to have the Homemade Tomato Pepper Sauce with Pan Fried Pork Chop, Chicken and Rice ($70) and added $10 for scrambled egg. The sauce had a bit of spice to it so it wasn't just a basic tomato sauce. There was also plenty of it. The pork chop was well fried and crisp. The chicken was moist and tender with  crispy skin. This fared better than mine.

Portion was not very big and I was able to finish. But for their signature dish that many say was one of the best in town, I wasn't too impressed. I've had better. Probably won't be back.

今日去左食午飯,叫左個叉燒滑蛋飯叉燒半肥瘦,滑蛋夠蛋味又夠滑。最緊要既豉油,都調教得岩岩好。另外叫咗一個下午茶餐,鮑魚火腿忌廉湯通粉,炒滑蛋,加多士。鮑魚火腿就係正常發揮,但忌廉湯給濃,好過平時茶餐廳嘅普通雞湯。炒滑蛋都係好滑,多士正常價格合理,幾好既餐廳,可以經常尼裝修乾淨企理,員工服務正常,冇乜投訴。
