I just used certain delivery platform pick-up service to order from this restaurant. It was an ABSOLUTELY BAD experience and I would recommend NO ONE to go. At first I asked my fiancé to pick up the food for me. The lady at the restaurant told him this was not the right restaurant. Indeed, my fiancé doesn’t speak Chinese really well, but he can 100% read the restaurant name in English??? He still politely asked where Pho Ha Noi was. The lady LITERALLY POINTED AT A RANDOM DIRECTION. This behavior
This behavior is 100% unacceptable. Why did she want him to just go across the mall just to find nothing?
So I needed to go again after my fiancé came back home empty handed. This time, she was looking for a number that was certainly not shown on my online dining platform app. I nicely explained to her: I can see the order number on the bag matches with mine, the order details, and the phone number match too. If you don’t feel safe just call that number and my phone will ring in front of you. Can I just take my food away? SHE RAISED HER VOICE AT ME. I’m just so confused lol. Is it because I don’t speak her language fluently or what?
Finally I got the food because I quit being nice to her. I guess lesson learnt?
As for their food, I wouldn’t say it’s good but it’s not garbage either. It’s a cheap place after all and you shouldn’t have high expectation. Pho Bar in Central/Sheung Wan area has way better food for almost the same price. Last but not least, the sauce they provided did spill all over the bag.
Anyway, just sharing what I experienced. Dining should be an enjoyable experience and this restaurant just won’t let you have it.
