人生苦短, 工作得那麼辛苦, 晚上當然要跟朋友喝個酒聊聊天, 這次就到 Port 試試裝潢走現代美國風, 背景播着英文流行曲, 氣氛輕鬆又熱鬧洗手間外的標誌也玩味十足, 香港真的需要多點這樣的幽默感食物選擇不算多, 但前菜、魚類、肉類和蔬菜都有, 總有一兩款合意的飲品選擇多得讓人眼花繚亂, mocktail, cocktail, shooters 共有 20 多款, 當然還有白酒、紅酒、啤酒和烈酒, 星期四五跟同事來 happy hour 一定很爽我一向不太好酒, 所以只點了 mocktail; 點菜的神聖任務也交給朋友來完成 (懶得可憐); 另外菜式的中文名字有些翻譯得有點怪, 所以我把中文跟英文版本都寫上了Posh in pink ($58, HH) 有西瓜和草莓汁, 好像還加了不少忌廉, 如果只有果汁會更好朋友的 Candy Chic ($60, HH) 雖有 Chambord, 但加了不少菠蘿和覆盆子汁, 容易入口, 蠻好喝的接下來是食物~Fontina fonduta, bacon, crispy bread (芳提娜芝士火鍋配伊比利亞火腿伴脆皮麵包, $108)溶掉的芝士呈

溶掉的芝士呈半液體狀, 絕對是芝士控最愛; 煙肉粒煎得焦脆香口, 更帶有點點蜜糖味, 鹹甜配撘加上微䁔的麵包很好吃, 是很滋味的開胃菜

店員表示此炸雞槌加入了 Jack Daniel 醬汁, 但朋友覺得不太吃得出來; 我其實較喜歡這個版本, 酸味和辣味都剛剛好, 沒有 buffalo wings 的嗆喉, 容易入口又不失刺激感

Pie of the day 是蘋果批 ($68), 造型很可愛, 還伴有雪糕和草莓; 批皮很薄, 水份較多, 口感較黏糯, 朋友們不太欣賞但剛好我還蠻喜歡這種口感, 所以吃得很開心

Hot cookies & ice cream ($68) 相比之下有點失色, 曲奇是暖暖的, 但卻是硬身的那種, 跟冰淇淋一起吃怪怪的, 吃這個就是要吃曲奇有咬口的感覺呀, 這個甜品可以跳過

Port 整個就是 bar & restaurant 的格局, 但完全想不到食物會這麼出色, 好幾道菜都有驚喜, 整體質素和價錢亦讓我們很滿意, 不論跟同事或三五知己來吃吃喝喝都很適合, 寫到這裡我已經想找朋友一起再去啦~~

Gotta eat something nice on a Friday night~There aren't much special restaurants that I haven't tried with reasonable price in Tsim Sha Tsui. After walking around TST for a long time, me and my friend decided to check out Knuttsford Terrance.Then we spotted this bar and restaurant that is not too overpriced.Since it is a bar after all, it is quite dark inside with not much lights.We are just in time to meet the Happy Hour here (I am an alcoholic)The prices for the cocktails are not too bad~~The

There aren't much special restaurants that I haven't tried with reasonable price in Tsim Sha Tsui. After walking around TST for a long time, me and my friend decided to check out Knuttsford Terrance.

I ordered a glass of Summer Chill, which there are Rum, Liqueur, Triple Sec and a bit of more alcohols. One of the reasons why I like cocktails is beacause there is a sweet fruity flavour and that flavour will combines with the alcohols perfectly
!! This drink contain a heavy strawberry taste with a slight of sweetness, which is exactly my kinda drink

My friend wanted to order Summer Chill as well, but we also want to explore the varierty of drinks
. Therefore, she chose Sweet Temptation that is made with some Vodka, Peach Schnapps, mango puree and watermelon juice. Perhaps is because I am not a big fan of watermelon
, I prefer the Summer Chill more than this one. Yet, Sweet Temptation is actually less sweetness compare to Summer Chill. Hence, my friend tends to enjoy it more.

As there is Happy Hour and the cocktails are in big glasses, we decided to go with another drink before we finished ours

My friend had been here before for drinks, she said there is a blue colour of cocktail here
. So we order this The Enchantress, which is made with some Tequila, Vodka, Midori Melon, Blue Curacao and Pineapple Juice. Nevertheless, the restaurant is so dark to take a good picture

This Crispy Chicharones - BBQ Slow Roast Pork is kinda similar with roast pig in Chinese style
. This pork is more tender and juicy
, yet the skin is pretty hard to chew
. And it serves with some barbecue sauce and some sort of lime oil(?), to reduce the heavy and fatty flavour of the pork
.

Another dish is Grilled Australia Skirt Steak Chunks with Chimichurri, I was going to order medium rare but the waiter suggested medium. Turned out medium cooked steak is not too bad
, as you can still see the steak is in pink colour
!!! The menu said the steak with comes with a spicy sauce, but there wasn't any spicy sauce
. I think the steak tastes good already with just a bit of salt
.

I am pretty satisfied with the meals, and I will try few more dishes for my next visit
.

There’s a small but interesting menu split into five sections – Apps, Soil, Sea, Land, Sweet Tooth – and full of interesting dishes we’ve not seen locally before. From the Apps selection bc sampled several very enjoyable plates the Blistered Shishito Peppers with Lime, Sea Salt ($55) were tasty and tangy and a perfect snack to drink with. The Boudin Arancini (Chorizo Rice Balls, $75) were large and filling and served with aioli sauce, slightly larger chunks of chorizo would improve this fine bar snack. The Chicharones ($98) served with plum and aioli sauce were large meaty and tasty if a little dry.

In the Soil section the Long Beans, Manchego Cheese, Lemon ($68) saw crisp long beans covered in cheese and lemon, simple fresh and crispy. From the Sea the Atlantic Cod Charred with Sweetcorn and Chorizo ($168) was a delicious blend of flavours and textures. Cod is such a delicious fish that we have to hope that stocks will continue to replenish. After so many interesting dishes the Bacon-Grind Sliders, Cheddar, onions and Comeback Sauce ($138) served with spicy fries seemed rather mundane but the sliders are large, with lots of freshly ground beef in the patty topped with good bacon (as a bacon lover a second rasher would have made the dish) and cheddar cheese.

An interesting and varied menu, generous well presented portions and reasonable prices ensure Port is definitely a place worthy of dropping anchor when your next in TST.
