We were the only customer at 7pm and no one bothered to serve us and the air is stale and lighting too dark to see us probably. The place is a lot smaller than it looks from outside and it was just not the effort to even tried the drinks ( tried to order but waiter was too busy getting ready or cleaning up)

Went with my frnd to try this bar. got a teeny tiny glasses of plain sparkling n beer for $100. After one glass, thought we'd leave for a better place for drinks. But then was told we're not allowed to just pay for what we had and leave. ***MUST PAY FOR THE PRICE OF 2 MORE DRINKS!!!!! Crazy scam-ish promotional agenda. And Poor value for the money compared to any bar in Central and TST! Unless if u live in Sheung Wan and can't find ANYTHING better to do, DONT TRY. THIS ONE!!

年初開業的Safe Bubbles & Malt，在威士忌之友的圈子裡面，是一單大新聞。門面有如夾萬，裡面的酒櫃，絕版威士忌井然有序排列著，由日本輕井澤，蘇格蘭Port Ellen等已關廠的威士忌，與一些舊版威士忌，每一瓶都是夢幻逸品。在開幕之前，與台北朋友R小姐來潮聖，後來我為這間酒吧，在部落格寫下一篇文章。後來有幸與酒吧的顧問，台灣威士忌達人黃培峻先生交談，得知其經營理念，在此不說太多。不過，全靠他引入蘇格蘭SMWS，簡稱協會威士忌，才得以成立香港分會，這裡，就是香港的協會大本營。記得年初入會費是＄1800，送一盒含有四瓶100ml協會威士忌的boxset，事隔多月，有沒有加價，我不太清楚。這晚在上環有飯局，時間尚早，又再打開夾萬，先喝些酒。歡樂時光有個推廣，指定數款協會威士忌，＄168一杯，第二杯收半價。須知道，在100％烈酒稅之下，在香港喝威士忌，與台灣相比，是絕對不便宜。尤其是喝一瓶就少一瓶，只用單桶原酒的協會威士忌？與大多酒吧不同之處，Safe的威士忌份量，以40ml一杯為標準。聽過負責人說，因為這裡背著推廣協會酒的責任，所以份量會多一點。我選擇了123.8，標題是In the Spanish mountain。協會酒其中一樣最吸引人之處，就是標題令人留下幻想空間。佐酒小吃不是花生，而是兩塊意大利風乾火腿，與藍芝士！本身是格蘭哥尼Glengoyne 12yo，Port pipe，超濃縮的甜如蜜糖，川貝琵琶膏，紅棗，香草，拖肥，蔗糖等精華，尾段有點爆炸力，中等身段。最後，還是來多一杯。細味著藍芝士，再喝一口威士忌，怎也聯想不到，我現正身處西班牙的山區，反而，想起半年前，我在Glengoyne酒廠的下午，那一段時光。
