This is newly opened branch of Simply life at Landmark (next to 贺菊）。The shop is not as large as IFC branch but the layout is more spacious and comfortable than IFC one. Lots of sofa with tables. -sweet corn, US sweet corn, sweet and crispy.
- preserved tomato: a bit salty
- pea: crispy and fresh with mixed vegetables.
- broccoli: neither raw nor overcooked.

All salad tastes good and fresh. Portion is OK for ladies.


It's self-serviced and paid at counter with Octopus payment allowed.

Overall, good place for quick and light lunch at Central. Better than Three Sixty.

I was super excited to know that Simplylife has opened at landmark! Definitely a better choice than boring starbucks / pret for some healthy salad with the long hours at work.

So.

It was a Sunday. A Sunday at work for me.

For the sake of my health, for the sake of trying out this branch - I headed down to the basement and spotted Simplylife easily.

Not a very big cafe area. I found the light to be too dim, probably not a place to read. This branch does not have the restaurant section like the branch at IFC.

Staff was courteous and served swiftly without delay.



I ordered a small salad ($48) and a cafe mocha ($28).

 For those of you unfamiliar with the Simplylife salad bar - you can choose either a small or a large box. You can then mix-and-match, pick-and-choose any types of salad on offer that day and fill up your box!
I just love the mix-and-match way; this brings much more variety and excitement to my "salad" diet!!

 I chose and mixed some ceasar salad, pesto penne, tomato and onion, sweet corn, broccoli etc~

Everything was fresh and tasty (and felt very healthy)!

 Was happiest with the ceasar salad and pesto penne. Ceasar Salad - leaves green and crisp and blessed with a generous amount of salad dressing. Pesto Penne - pasta salads can potentially go very wrong by being unfresh, too cold, oily etc; this pesto penne was GREAT!



To be frank, I would recommend going to the IFC branch for eat-ins. Not only for a proper meal at the restaurant section, but the "cafe" area is much brighter and more spacious.

But for take-outs, I will definitely revisit this branch! Nothing beats this branch's location! I mean, landmark is the centre of central right?
(or at least for me!!
)
Plus the quality of the food is consistent and as good in this branch
