To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

外地朋友來香港，本想請他吃頓好的，他說想試試我們香港人日常吃什麼早餐，那就帶他去連鎖式餐廳試試吧。我們都點了個皇牌早餐，有黑松露炒蛋、一片完整的厚多士、通粉，再來一杯飲品，份量充足。蛋都幾滑，通粉常見都是用水弄熟了，再另外加湯，這裡當然都一樣，但個通粉煮的不會過熟，湯的味道也不錯，這類檔次的連鎖餐廳之中這家的味道算是滿意。份量真的很大，吃完後到兩三點才覺得餓，友人更是不能吃完整份早餐。幾十元算是這樣了。
