WAFFFLE! (Closed)

WAFFFLE! 是近日備受身邊食友推崇的新店, 來到中環的話, 也沒有不來的理由。來到嘉咸街的斜路上, 大約記得這裡就是乳酪店 Berrygood 的前址, 感覺有點「那些年」。店子走搶眼型格路線, 很喜歡店內牆身給人任意塗鴉的設計, 很有親切感。是日的 Weekly Special 為 Walnut Waffle ($25), 於是點選了這個作為 Base。當然 "The sky is the limit" (無限配料) 是相當吸引, 不過「檸茶」欲品嚐窩夫的真味, 因此保守地選擇了兩款配料作陪襯。原來每款 Waffle 已經包括一款自選配料, 之後每款加 $5, 是日則選擇了榛子 (Hazelnut) 和雪糕。雪糕口味只有雲呢拿一款選擇, 用上了 Dreyer's 貨色, 跟其他配料一樣, 只需加 $5, 看來是最划算的配料, 店方不吝嗇, 那球雪糕真的不小, 至少可以「啖啖雪糕」, 跟熱度足夠的 Waffle 更有一冷一熱的對比效果; 榛子粒同樣很多, 跟 Waffle 中的 Walnut 味混合起來, 增加了果仁味道的層次。 以 $30 一件窩夫來說, 價錢是稍高了一點, 不

早已想拜訪開業不久的比利時waffle店，今天就相約朋友前來一試。因為我遲大到，所以朋友們先買了一份 original吃了。我到達後，大家決定再點兩份waffle share。店員會把預先弄好的waffle放進夾餅機内烘熱，然後加toppings再送給客人。 Ｗalnut waffle with unlimited toppings (the sky is the limit!) 無論是土產港式窩夫餅，或是外來的Waffle，哪一種對於香港人來說都不是稀奇事。不知是媒體的力量大，還是港人突然覺醒發現窩夫有別樣的美味，近排的Waffle小鋪遍地開花。舊時的甜品舖用上窩夫餅來個“大革新”，效果不差，港島區去到銅鑼灣的咖啡弄更是人龍唬人，沒想到眼皮底下也悄無聲息的來了一個比利時“WAFFFLE!”。豈有不近水樓臺先得月的道理！猶如其簡單又“大手筆”的包裝一般，店招牌也相當有街頭放個，大大的霹靂體waffle跟上個驚歎號小尾巴，黑底彩字，立體感與動感十足，年輕、力量，再帶上些小小的marvel漫畫風。Waffle 都是現整的，厚度正常，口感鬆軟中帶dough的韌度，略有烘烤的香氣，內層的dough密度挺厚，也偏干身小小，故比起港式窩夫或台灣窩夫要來的更有嚼勁，做個比喻就好似法包與日式花式麵包的分別，個人對於後者相當不感冒！各位就“青菜蘿蔔各有所好”吧口味選擇不多，可選“輕量級”的窩夫餅（原味、肉桂、杏仁等）配topping，而我當然是要個Wafffle devil (chocolate)，“重量級”在於窩夫餅中間好似泡芙一樣打入朱古力醬，一口咬下，溫熱而微稠的朱古力醬“

估唔到擺花街都有檔街邊小食。我冇去過比利時，不過呢間比利時口味既窩夫食落好足料，舖頭啲醬都係街舖少見的。嗰日食左個肉桂味窩夫，肉桂味唔會太濃，鬆軟度剛剛好，趁熱食真係不錯，雖然喺街邊咬住食好熱。 佢開多幾間就好了  

I was on my way to Kau Kee when I saw this fun looking Wafffle shop which ruined my plan to Kau Kee as I had already eaten a quiche and a tart beforehand.Anyway, I just liked the colourful comic design of the shop logo, not only was it impactful, there were fun flashing coloured squares at the bottom which look great at night.(Wafffles is spelt with three f's which took me a while to find it on Openrice.)There is another Belgian Waffle joint in TST but I never tried because it was a tiny shop an
