難得一日可以晚些時間返工,尋思悠哉遊哉吃個早餐。平時都是三明治加咖啡,今天不如來杯奶茶,吃個港式早餐吧!裕興位于山下,不需要走遠,鐵皮屋的風格很有懷舊之感,心想是體驗港味的不錯選擇。穿過若干鐵皮屋和老式粥鋪,終于看到街尾的裕興,只有4張擺放在室外街邊的小圓台,餐牌異常簡單卻是中英俱全,可見不少遊客或者外籍人士光顧。點了炒蛋多士餐,炒蛋加咸牛肉和什菜,多士烘底加奶醬,熱奶茶,一共25蚊。點餐時剛過10點,店家說要等15分鐘,反正今天不趕時間,吃到為算,可以等。15分鐘已過,食物終于姍姍到來。熱奶茶,普普通通,奶太多,茶味太薄,奶茶比例失調,以香港茶記的標準,這杯在平均水平之下,雖然也不至於到難喝的地步。另外有點奇怪的是,奶茶裏有少許咖啡的味道,一度讓我懷疑是不是落錯單寫成鴛鴦?不過咖啡味非常淡,難道是茶杯或者茶勺沒有洗乾淨,上一餐的殘留?這個有點過分了。多士至薄,兩片相加勉強夠得上普通多士的厚度,但烘底非常好,異常鬆脆,麵包香味也被充分帶出,加上中間的奶醬很豐富,多士的味道很棒。在我落單后2分鐘,店家就挂出麵包類賣噻的牌子,看來銷量不錯還是有道理的。炒蛋變成煎蛋,也搞不清楚是不是這裡的炒

炒蛋變成煎蛋,也搞不清楚是不是這裡的炒蛋就是如此?蛋煎得算差,熟過頭,又太多油。蛋汁是一定沒有的了,是過熟的omelet;裏面的咸牛肉完全不咸,也沒有牛肉的咸味,吃到嘴裏只有油的味道;加什菜是不錯的主意,但還附帶了幾條米粉,是從別人點的米粉裏拿過來的吧!因爲味道太淡,或者說完全沒有味道,要拿桌上的白胡椒來救場,好在我喜歡吃蛋,不是很難吃我都可以吃完。

以食物的質素、價錢和效率來説,這裡真的不是上班族的好選擇,感覺普通茶餐廳都好過這裡;至於鐵皮屋的感覺,我寧願多爬幾級階梯去勝香園了。

三月廿三日(星期四)有次吃完盛記後,行經隔鄰的裕興,對這家新式的大排檔頗感興趣事隔幾個星期後,我倆再專程前往,心只想小試牛刀,吃一個簡簡單單的腸蛋麵,豈料獲老闆娘告之至少要等上半小時,時間不允許,唯有下次今日相約了老公仔和友人F小姐一同前往,為的就是要吃到那碗珍質的公仔麵,吃不到誓不罷休由於我要坐叮叮前來,老公仔就先去霸位和先點食物,今次更厲害,要等上四十五分鐘! 所以即使我遲到也沒什損失,因為無論如何也要再花上廿分鐘去等他們說每遲一個點菜,就要多等五分鐘左右,亦即是說,泡製每一碗麵需約五分鐘~一轉午餐只能做廿多位客人,加上小店只做早午市,試問怎能經營呢?我來到後才點飲品,點了的凍奶茶也要花上十分鐘時間去等如果沒有一個充裕的午飯時間,切勿來試最初還以為是出前一丁,原來要加錢本身是用上福麵,記得小時候媽媽想煮福麵給我做早餐有陣子吃到厭了,但近年來可能少吃,又再喜歡它麵身較幼,吃起來頗軟身最美味的是五香肉丁與炒蛋幾乎融合為一體,咬開炒蛋,見到肉丁醬汁半溶的狀態效果特別,這可能是要用長時間來炮製的成果反而司華存腸與炒蛋的效果就較普通薄切開一片片的司華力腸很有質感,散佈在整塊炒蛋中要見識五香肉

三文治也見心思;芝士炒蛋三文治的芝士是誘人的半溶狀,煙韌甘香,不是一般的片裝例牌貨,大排檔也有小心思。

早上回公司前,心血來潮想吃三文治早餐,於是走進這聞名已久的小食街來尋找一下。就在最入的一間停下來,雖然位置不大,但最奇怪的是這一食店只限堂食,不設外賣,在中環真是少見。因為很多時地方不多,所以便希望食客外賣,以希望得到更多金錢的機會。這裡的另一個特點是,所有三文治都會有時菜拼在一起的。既然這麼特別,就來試一試吧!選擇了蛋牛治烘底。外層的方包烘得脆脆的,當然很好味。最令自己驚喜的是,原來這裡的三文治不但有時菜,更是用花生醬來塗的,味道很特別。花生醬令三文治更加惹味,真的不錯。

七月下旬(炎熱)這天早上在中環吃早餐,因為勝香園還在休業故苦無落腳點,最終還是被拉了去裕興大牌檔喝炭燒咖啡。這裏可真受大哥們歡迎,人人一碗炒蛋公仔麵一杯熱咖啡的,我卻沒這胃納吃這麼一大碗,只叫了份油占多,加熱奶茶,吃一個港式早餐。食物要等好一陣子才準備好,飲品先到。用玻璃杯盛載的奶茶依舊是熱到燙手,但嗅起來茶香不濃,喝來是幾順滑的,只是質感薄削了少許,個人會偏好有濃烈奶香又厚身的奶茶。多士則是薄身的,再將它切開三薄片,各面塗了果占和牛油,再夾成一份,吃得沒那麼麻煩,心機和工序多很多。其實麵包是幾煙膩和高質素的,只是個人實在不好薄多士,所以還是覺得差了點甚麼。不過果占塗得慷慨,甜甜的令這星期一的早上變得更美好。吃完,後面已有客人在等位,加上室外位置不宜久留,還是快快讓座好了。

At nine in the morning the small stall was already full by 80% and we had to wait before two seats were made available. The menu was simple since this stall offers only toast, sandwiches, noodles and, of course, coffees and teas. We ordered two toasts sets. And how much was that? $20 per set with a hot drink included.

The missus was quick and helpful with ordering and after that i had a closer look at the stall. Clearly refurbished, the stall loooked a lot neater (and safer to eat at) than before. Funny how the tables were all branded with the name of a local restaurant guide.

First came the drinks. I had a hot coffee and it came in a tall glass, pipping hot. The first sip was - disappointing. The coffee was somewhat watery and tasted diluted rather than aromatic. The body was not full at all. It was similar to what's offered at Shui Kee@Sheung Wan but this was certainly much less aromatic than that.

Next came the toasts. 10 minutes had lapsed between my drink and my food, and i was even more disappointed to see the thin toast as i am a fan of really think slabs of bread.

The bread was quite crunchy and when i took it up, i realized the thin bread had been further sliced into 3 thinner layers with PB and condensed milk alternatively jammed on the toast. It was a very delicate and hard job to do indeed. Sadly, i was not very impressed by their efforts as the toast was not crunchy enough, and the peanut butter was not the grainy one but the smooth & silky variation, which i dislike.

The other order of fresh butter with jam toast was slightly better as the toasts were a little burnt and more crunchy.

To conclude: not quite sure why people would like the coffee as it tasted too watery to me. Even those at Tsui Wah are a lot better than this. Still a cheap thrill at $20 - perhaps i shouldnt have expected so much from the dai pai dong.

小小的大排檔,藏匿於橫街窄巷位子不多,早早來到才好,是日更有老外光顧牌子寫著製作需時,早早在OR看過後已有心理準備來個全拚,凍飲+$2全拚,只係將佢有offer o既選擇一次過俾晒你:紅腸、餐肉、蛋、椰菜,仲有就係唔係咁多地方有o既福麵白一點說,呢o的組合多數最o岩o的麻甩佬,但我其實只係間中鍾意食o下。周街氾濫o既公仔丁麵,其實我覺得福麵更好,麵身較軟但又粗o的,湯包清一點三十蛟,老實講係貴,但中環大排檔還是需要呢個價錢吧蛋是煎過的所以略實而有口感,紅腸餐肉不是很鹹而充滿「原味」,椰菜也沒有怪味呢奶茶是那茶水伯伯專責負責的,很滑很香有高水準不算很飽,但,就是喜歡那簡單而直接的味道

三十蛟,老實講係貴,但中環大排檔還是需要呢個價錢吧
蛋是煎過的所以略實而有口感,紅腸餐肉不是很鹹而充滿「原味」,椰菜也沒有怪味呢

Went for sit-down breakfast as they do not allow take-out. The luncheon meat and egg sandwich was absolutely delicious. Very thin and small slices of luncheon meat paired with fried egg with diced lettuce encased in the egg. The biggest surprise was the sauce... tasted like peanut butter-flavored condense milk! The sandwich was so fresh and hot that it burned the roof of my mouth. But it was a small price to pay for such a yummy sandwich.

Brought another one to try this tiny and low-key Dai Pai Dong - We loved it. The toast with peanut butter and milk was fantastic - so crispy . We should encore. The noodle came with 5 minutes - 10 minutes cooking time as the gentleman in-charge would stir fried the instant 'lunch meat/ham' with eggs and vegi and use his patience to cook for you. You would need patience to wait for this bowl of noodle.

27-10-2009又到大排檔食 lunch, 今次試試賣奶茶咖啡公仔麵為主的呢度. 叫了一碗乜都有的「雜麵」, 加杯熱奶茶 (total $30).奶茶色水不錯, 飲落幾滑, 茶味幾香, 但已代落糖, 甜得離晒譜 第一次嚟唔知頭唔知路 tim, 下次一定會叫「少甜」「雜麵」餐牌上話有煎蛋, 紅腸, 餐肉及菜, 嚟到就原來係紅腸餐肉奄列 + 椰菜, 賣相味道都好住家 feel, 特別欣賞煎蛋香口又邊位脆身, 椰菜就軟腍清甜 麵底就係福字牌, 淥得稍腍身, 不過味精湯底又唔會太鹹, 還可以吧.大排檔環境預咗唔好; 全檔原來得一位伯伯 prep 飲品, 煮麵及烘多士亦只得一位哥哥負責, 睇住 d 粉麵逐碗逐碗出, 我嗰碗足足等了 40 分鐘先有得食 (1:10pm 已坐低兼落單, 1:50pm 先嚟!), 果然「慢工出細貨」呀吓... 好在下午唔使開會0者 , 不過就要打消去嘆咖啡的念頭了.放低 $30 急急腳離開, 唔趕時間的話, 可以一試的.
