於中環區威靈頓街的上斜位置開了一家頗具特色的小鋪。這家「炊豕店」以墨綠色為主打,在米白色的外牆裡有一組粗深綠的窗框,以長條形一格一格地圍繞著玻璃。由於窗口面積不算大,而窗框甚厚,在一條又一條窄長的玻璃中,咱們好難窺探店內之狀況。「炊豕店」的圓形商標以炭黑色呈現在窗旁之米白牆身外,再過一點便是進入店子的綠色門框。有趣的是門框外的兩側以傳統的紅紙黑墨水書法寫有一幅對聯。起初看見「炊豕」二字,直覺便認為這屬一家和風豬扒店,皆因日本喜喚豬為豚。不過當走到店前認真地看看餐牌,發現她們除炸豬扒外尚有午餐肉煎蛋飯、葱花滑蛋炒飯及肉燥飯,彷彿似是台灣,卻又夾雜著和風與港產的不淪不類。觀乎這麼沒有風格個性的小店,兼之看見午餐肉煎蛋這些小的也能簡單製作的預製食品,小的立即嗤之以鼻。然而事隔月餘,一天週末到中環接老伴放工,他卻再次把小的帶到「炊豕店」來。原來他的同事們試過,盛讚店家的出品,於是咱們便在這五時三十分半紅不黑的尷尬時段投店一嚐滋味。「炊豕店」的營業時間只是逢星期一至六早上11:30至晚上20:00,拜日休息。這好明顯是專做辦公人員的生意。小的心想香港人經營生意總希望愈搵愈多,用盡每一分的資源賺個盤滿砵滿。如廝只在短時間營業的鋪頭極為罕見,似乎在這裡打工也是不錯。餐廳20:00收鋪,最尾入座的食客可能要在七時多,若要晚膳也為一頓輕便的早晚餐。至於咱們未夠六時入座,正值下午茶與晚餐的交界時段,是故細小的餐廳也不見有人。整家店子為咱們獨享。及至進入餐廳,小的才真正地洞悉內裡乾坤。灰綠色的牆身與棕木色的方桌和簡陋的木圓凳加小方凳,配合「炊豕店」一側入廚房位置的古舊木屏封與棕木條紋的洗手間門,餐廳打造的似乎是舊時代的香港風味。而吧檯前那一個金銅色轉葉風扇更顯端倪,六、七十年代的懷舊氣息溢於言表。由於這週末老伴幹到五時多,小的早在家中享用豐富的午餐,如今肚子仍是滿滿的吃不下許多食物來。結果咱們細閱餐牌,最後決定叫一客主餐和一份小吃。豬扒肉燥飯可轉換為粗麵,既然小的不好飯,當然選了後者。另外的椒鹽魷魚鬚則是老伴與小的也喜愛的香口美食。雖然就只得咱們一檯食客,但等出菜也等了好一會。率先出場的酥炸魷魚鬚呈現深褐顏色,炸粉被滾油泡得又乾又焦,好明顯這是過了火的食物,小的頗感失望。不是有食家推介的嗎?何解這客椒鹽魷魚弄得如此不堪入目?而且這樣的食法好熱氣,小的還是喜歡大排檔式的椒鹽鮮魷,薄薄的金黃外皮包裹著厚身粘滑的魷魚肉。這一客魷魚鬚,比茶樓出品更不如。小的無奈地一啖入口,雖然廚師重手地為食材添加鹹香,可惜質感是一如所料的又乾又硬。小的喪浸喼汁,希望為魷魚減熱氣及增加點點的濕潤軟滑,只可惜那為杯水車薪,毋改其出品的厄運。幸好豬扒撈麵挽回聲價,脆卜卜的炸皮包含著厚切豬扒,豬扒肉身鬆化,其厚度正好調和炸皮的爽脆。老伴讚不絕口,說這炸豬扒為他在香港所吃的前三甲位置。至於撈麵亦是香濃惹味,唯一不足處是何解餐廳出品如廝鹹濃的食物卻不提供清水,是迫食客點飲品可增加營業額嗎?結果咱們熱氣得咀也損了,要立即到對街的果汁店點個五青汁以解燃眉之急。 continue reading

上星期五大概2點幾,同朋友一共三位到,店員就話得bar枱,咁我哋想方便傾偈,右肩舖頭內食客不算多,而且又過了OL們的lunch time,應該等一陣就可以有位咁我哋就同店員講我哋想方便傾偈唔想坐吧枱,寧願等一陣。店員及坐喺近門口的一張2+2枱的一個另一個店員是一齊聽到的,回覆我「咁你等下啦」等咗約15分鐘,終於入到去坐裡面的2+2枱,然後發現,店裏竟然有二張2+2枱都係用作員工吃飯,我明白員工都要用餐時間,重點係每張2+2枱(即是4人枱)都只係坐兩位員工,點解唔將佢哋group埋一齊? 或者將佢哋搬去吧枱?食物味道真是好好味!只是感到顧客不被重視的都唔expect極好Service,但不至於咁唔彈性呀嘛 continue reading

I like this shop cos the price is very reasonable and the food quality is surprisingly good. Sadly, I saw this notice saying that the last day of this stop will be end of this month. It’s still available in other districts. Tried the “braised pork belly bits and boiled egg with rice”. The soy sauce is not salty yet it’s flavoured. You can eat a big bowl of rice with the braised pork belly. But the boiled egg is quite salty. We ordered two dishes. It’s not my first time to eat “slow-cooked soft pork bone” but it disappointed me this time. The pork is a bit dry, especially we had the braised pork before. We spent $122 for lunch in Central!! 這間台灣人氣小店是其中一間中環名物!午市時段經常出現人龍,店員都做到無停手。店內所賣的食品基本上與炸豬扒和肉燥飯相關的中式食品。店舖以70年代舊香港的海報作裝飾,檯櫈也是偏中式的木製檯櫈。‘大阪燒’豬扒飯 少飯上面份量十足的木魚片已經好吸引,滿佈整件豬扒,再有風味滿滿的蛋黃醬加持,完全把大阪燒的精髓複製到炸豬扒上。炸豬扒厚身之餘,入口香脆又軟腍,同時又保留到豬肉齒頰留香的肉汁香味。蛋黃醬配飯絕對是邪惡又難以抗拒的配搭!話梅花雕豬手飯首先豬手彈牙又不硬,容易入口,還充滿女士喜歡的骨膠原,而且花雕十分入味,淡淡酒香讓人特別醒神又開胃。 continue reading

金舌頭同事話依度嘅豬扒好好食但成日都排唔到隊星期六下午去到居然冇乜人排隊即刻走入去試試佢全港得3間舖有兩間都係港島區新界嘅朋友唔想過海可以去長沙灣店😃未去過但門口好易搵~店內裝修簡單舒服望真啲牆上嘅畫都係行懷舊風自己tick嘅點餐紙除左有主餐之外仲有不同嘅小食~我地兩個人order左兩份餐再share一個小食再加配左支裝豆漿🥛我地都叫左最出名嘅主角~炸豬扒真係好大塊好似order一個餸咁味道濃得黎唔會好咸炸皮同豬扒冇分離亦好脆!全塊豬扒啖啖肉飯同米線都差啲食唔落😆蔥油豬扒飯 $64依個係餐廳人氣推介👍🏼細個好渴望蔥油撈飯依碗人氣推介一定滿足到我😂溫馨提示~食豬扒可能已經飽左一半白飯亦係好多唔想浪費就叫少飯🍚秘製豬扒配胡椒豬骨湯米線 $64叫米線豬扒會另上唔會比湯浸住~而湯底稍微有啲淡🤭胡椒豬骨味唔夠出可能預客人連埋豬扒一齊食味道就岩岩好~~肉燥凍豆腐 $22平時食開皮蛋或者麻醬豆腐今次加肉燥亦好夾肉燥汁味道偏重😲連埋小量蔥花芝麻一齊食整體味道唔會咁濃烈平衡得好好~ continue reading
