Really liked everything I ate here!Jack's fried chicken is conveniently located in Catchick Street near the end of the tram-route of Kennedy Town and has catchy pink-themed decoration, next to another restaurant called Bresola. From there you can almost see the seaside a street away.I arrived at around 8.30 and saw people waiting for their takeaways which take around 10 minutes to come out, as the shopkeeper says everything is cooked fresh unlike chain stores A bit strangely, though, there is only one man cooking and operating everything, looks quite busy and hot in there... Can't imagine working at this understaffed place The menu consists of different parts of the chicken. My friend and I ordered the boneless thighs set and the bacon chicken burger set. Set has fries and a drink; my friend upgraded to potato wedges instead of fries.The chicken thighs tasted so damn juicy and flavourful! The chicken used must have been quite good. The burger has chicken, bacon, onion rings and a smokey BBQ sauce. Seriously loved the combination (yes i stole a bite from my friend).The fries and wedges are yummy too! Pay to upgrade to the wedges if you like more texture, worth it! My friend liked the seasoning and complimentary pink sauce for dipping! He actually paid to get extra sauce because he finished his! I will definitely come again. Awesome sauce literally!

If you only remember one thing from this review - it should be: "fingerlickin' good" - for real. Try it.JFC has great fried chicken for value which comes with addictive fries and a soft drink (diet coke is available, while the owner encourages the consumption of regular coke). Scroll all the way down for photos.The chicken was very well-marinated in their blend of sauces, making the flesh way more exciting than your regular chicken and balancing off any oil. The breast was tender and moist. There are a few meal sets to choose from, including boneless chicken thighs and chicken burger etc. Portions are very decent, esp as the restaurant is American ;)The potato fries were made slimmer than the sweet potato fries. All three were tasty and well fried. The photo of all fries below shows sweet potato fries (left), chilly fries (middle - not for the faint of tastebuds but definitely awesome) and "regular" fries in a special fragrantly salty flavour (right, tasted like the local brand of 熱浪 potato chips). As I prefer less salty stuff, the sweet potato fries were the best for me - but the others are definitely great as well.The service is good and flexible. Feedback was asked from new customers, and many returning customers appeared.For location, JFC is a great place for grab/eat-and-go and is 3 mins' walk from the Kennedy Town Station and right next to a tram station. It has a bar table outside the restaurant enough to fit three men. Equally perfect location for visitors of kennedy town and nearby residents - there are benches by the seaside which seem to make the desired spot for taking away some chicken to...Am secretly hoping this is indeed the first review, having exclaimed "FIRST".
