To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 媽媽生日, 於置富都會附近有咩食好? 我們選擇了彩福。一出紅磡站上電梯進入置富都會上8樓。店門面夠寬敞,裏面一盞盞吊燈夠光猛,有氣派。晚市小菜, 海鮮應有盡有。片皮鴨,一鴨2食,  雞煲翅, 簡簡單單地吃。原隻片皮鴨, 夠份量, 職員用刀即場片,能片至滿滿的2碟脆皮,。鴨皮燒至脆卜卜的,滿滿油香, 入口齒頰留香。夾以面皮, 青瓜及醬汁, 中和鴨皮的油膩感;味道跟某北京名酒樓的感覺相若。另一食鴨肉以豆豉涼瓜來炒,鴨肉很厚, 炒得夠火喉,味道夠,啖啖肉,口感煙韌; 而涼瓜不苦,用來伴飯剛剛好。雞煲翅,湯料十足,輕輕一撈, 滿滿的翅,每一細條十分爽滑,滿滿的一煲翅, 足夠至少每人2滿碗,湯十分清甜滋潤; 入口的翅香久久不散。而湯渣, 雞, 煲至綿滑, 入口即化,可以沾以醬油作調味。3人的晚餐,雖然是簡單的2道菜,卻能吃出4款不同的口味菜式,且珍貴的食材也不會覺得失禮。
