「南海一號」在 iSquare 開業多年,曾經多次光顧;今年終於在銅鑼灣插旗,選址世貿中心中層,開了「南海二號」。兩間餐廳同樣坐擁無敵海景,一邊香港、一邊九龍,遙遙對望,餐飲集團領導層果然係刻意經營。樓底高、空間寬敞、座位舒適;靠近大廈玻璃幕牆的餐枱固然擁有無敵海景兼充足自然光,即使第二排、甚至靠近內隴牆邊的座位,同樣可以眺望少許海景。提前一個星期訂枱,當然獲得編配第一排靠窗座位。正!幫襯過「南海一號」,就一定知道絕對不能錯過炸迷你蝦片這道餐前小吃($28 / 份)。細細塊、勝在一啖一塊,炸得香脆,微微香辣,味道一流。主餐牌的小菜價錢配合餐廳定位,都算貴;反而點心並非貴過銅鑼灣區其他(沒有無敵海景)酒樓很多、甚至只是差不多同一水平。飲茶食點心原來係一個相當唔錯嘅選擇,只是點心款式相對少;要食飽飽,就要加小菜或者炒粉麵飯,變相賺返。清湯牛肉球($48)爽口彈牙,惜清湯的肉味偏淡。以廣東酒樓來說,上海小籠包($58)已做得相當不錯;小籠包皮雖然及不上名牌小籠包店的薄身,但豬肉糜餡料味道很好、湯汁亦夠多。筍尖鮮蝦餃($58)爽口彈牙、蝦味鮮甜,如果餡料有再多少少爽脆的筍粒會更佳。花膠竹笙灌湯
