搬屋一早起身先去食一個豐富的早餐,去了旺角這間民華餐廳,這裏最出名的就是薑絲牛肉通粉,以前在大埔返工的時候差不多一星期食兩至三次。薑絲牛肉通粉配餐肉炒蛋及煉奶多士牛肉不會有平時人茶餐廳的肉腥味,用了薑絲之餘而且牛肉都很新鮮,所以有牛肉香味,通粉爽口不會煮得太腍。這裏的炒蛋應該是加了奶,所以炒得很滑很香,加上烘至微焦的多士,十分香脆。番茄牛肉通粉配腸仔炒蛋及花生醬多士番茄通又是另一番風味,茄肉酸酸甜甜而且無味精,早上食特別開胃。
