眾所週知油尖旺區一帶串燒店比比皆是,但原來荃灣亦是另一個串燒聖地,網上一搜已經有逾十間串燒店,而當中大部分都好評如潮,這次放棄平時經常光顧的燒烤堂轉而一試小店川燒王。沙嗲雞肉串 ($30/三串)、燒五花腩肉串 ($30/兩串) 等肉類串燒價格相宜,主要以孜然粉及辣椒粉調味偏近川式風味。海鮮選擇出乎意外地豐富,例如即開新鮮蒜蓉燒生蠔 ($188/六隻)、燒蒜蓉扇貝帶子 ($70/兩隻) 、燒生猛活花蝦 ($36/兩隻) 、蒜蓉粉絲燒蘇格蘭聖子王 ($50/隻)、蒜蓉燒活鮑魚 ($65/兩隻),價格相對偏貴但燒蒜蓉扇貝帶子亦算肉厚惹味。
