To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

上班族一向無固定放工時間,準時收工絕對是大慶幸,有機會要好好對待自己同愛人。今次再踏足金巴利道,並非去開得成行成市的韓式餐廳,而去品嚐有多個好評的西餐廳。行到街尾就到,店舖位置不太開揚,但勝在旺中帶靜,logo以橙色做底色,好搶眼。一早已預約,坐下時看到'Reserved'字眼,頓覺對客人非常周到。Menu上有set dinner for two, set dinner 同wine list. Set dinner for two 內的食物全部都包括在內,不需再選,而且款式亦適合我們,就決定這個。有塊小白板,寫出'Daily Special' 有蠔,沙律,澳洲M5肉眼等,愛食蠔的蝦餅,一定要為佢點選他至愛的生蠔。今次揀了法國蠔王- 銅蠔 Belon 00銅蠔外形圓而扁,每一個0代表它的年紀,0的數目越多,代表蠔的年紀越大,肉質會更結實,味道更濃更long lasting由於今次初嘗Belon, 00的年紀配合重金屬味、重海水味。外表淡色,蠔肉頗飽滿,入口一刻有少量鹹鹹的海水味,但咬蠔肉後,金屬味及鮮味湧出,包住口腔,餘韻到最後的甜品都仍突出,非常神奇!玫瑰煙三文魚配水牛芝士沙律擺放精緻

擺放精緻,像兩朵玫瑰花在草地上,之前從未試過配食水牛芝士,以為兩款重口味未必夾得來。誰知。。
軟軟的煙三文魚肉有啖啖咸香和豐富魚油,而水牛芝士未有如車打芝士的重奶味,但有淡淡奶油香,配蕃茄及三文魚共食,口感豐富,味道時濃郁、時清新,確有另類的享受。

二人餐每人可享用三隻田螺,有上網網購急凍海鮮習慣的我,對田螺都有顧忌,全因田螺被殻包住,網上相片更會有一堆草綠色填補田螺/蝸牛口,根本看不出有何質素。當這店的田螺出場,我被擺設及田螺的外表吸引。

這裡的田螺都頗大隻,用夾都要看準較窄的位置,螺顏色鮮豔分明,上面有香草,蒜蓉及矜貴的黑松露,下面墊有薯蓉及多士。熱食的食物非常適合黑松露,上枱已被它的氣味包圍。

有賣相,食物更有水準,田螺入口先爽後淋,螺肉大隻有鮮味,自身已吸收香草及蒜蓉味,回甘味及黑松露味久久不散,加上多士食,幫忙吸收烹調時入油於田螺的精華,脆口而不膩,若多士再乾身及厚一點,吸收及口感會更好。

忌廉味比較突出,但不稠,甘荀已經完全攪拌,入口滑溜無渣,甘荀的香氣不多,但味道非常濃,香甜得令我一度以為是糖度較高的南瓜湯。

同步上兩個主菜,吸晴度特高。牛柳有兩件,方便享用。要了七成熟,雖仍有血水,但牛柳本身質素好好,肉質軟嫩,非常易切,紋理間更間歇流出肉汁。
入口牛柳肉香嫩滑肉汁亦豐富,鵝肝雖在牛柳上,但油香原來已滲入牛柳,有淡淡油香。

鵝肝多見切片,今次竟然見到角切,但反而驚喜。名乎其實外脆內軟,鵝肝油充滿口腔,零苦澀味,比之前食過的鵝肝片更多份口感!一讚!
