To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

不少人說金華冰廳的菠蘿油是全港最好,艾琳熊特意去試一試。新鮮出爐的菠蘿包,烤至金黃色的外皮很酥脆,包身又鬆軟,中間夾著的凍牛油慢慢地融入麵包中,冰火口感一流。不過,我覺得牛油不夠大塊,部份包身完全沾不上牛油,有點失色。西多士也是茶餐廳必食之物,炸到金黃色的多士,中間是花生醬,外層是鬆化的蛋漿,上面放有一大片半融的牛油,再淋上糖漿,簡直比菠蘿油更加「邪惡」。金華的西多士味道不錯,但比較油,也不見得比其他茶餐廳突出。另外,還食了芝士咖喱豬扒撈丁,份量很多,芝士醬十分濃郁,但多吃幾口就會開始感到膩,而且豬扒肉質較「實」。飲品方面,我沒有試這裡出名的奶茶,只是喝熱華田,並不特別。由於出名的關係,本地人和遊客都會光顧,金華冰廳經常人頭湧湧,坐位又狹窄,所以要有心理準備用餐時會不太自在。
