To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 是日BB展,與老婆買完BB用品,最好立即找到餐廳坐一坐。最就近會展的,一定是位於會展中心入面的港灣茶餐廳。午市套餐有四個選擇,以會展入面的餐廳來說,價錢算為公道。我選了乾炒海鮮烏冬,稍稍咸了一點和油膩一點,味道算不錯。老婆突破盲腸,問我為什麼海鮮烏冬沒有海鮮,是喔,像乾炒牛河轉了烏冬,只有肉片,沒有海鮮。油菜另加$30。有菜心和芥蘭可選擇,我們選了芥蘭,芥蘭嫩口,配上少許蠔油,清淡而健康。老婆選了蔥油煎豬扒。我食了三分之一塊豬扒,豬扒經過醃制,十分入味,有甜有咸,有茶餐廳味濃的風格。豬扒煎得剛好,十分香脆,但不會過硬。暖暖的蔥油很香,很送飯。可力真係好飲到無得彈,奶香幼滑,有別於一般茶餐廳。總體來說,港灣茶餐廳位置便利,方便逛完會展找地方吃飯,味道有一定的水準,環境寬敞舒適。
