車仔麵,又稱嗱渣麵,香港地道飲食文化核心之一,相信大部分人都不會反對吧?!車仔麵的由來,應該是以前的熟食小販在街頭推着木頭車,販賣著熱辣辣的湯麵而得名的,當時佐麵的餸菜不外乎牛腩碎、豬皮、豬紅、齋、魚蛋及青菜,任君配搭,價錢亦相宜,所以成為學生或打工仔的日常美食選擇之一。隨着時代的變遷,以前街頭巷尾的熟食小販已被法例所禁止,而大多數已入舖繼續經營,麵食餸菜也變得多元化,汰弱留强下亦有很多已打出名堂,如西灣河的超級無敵多餸,銅鑼灣的勁辣醬,灣仔的原味靚湯等,而最近有一位在尖沙咀一帶搵食的朋友就介紹筆者試了一間不一樣的嗱渣麵。這間車仔麵位處近尖東一帶,是去紅隧口搭隧巴的必經之路,但平時筆者經過多數只是篤串魚蛋,食串燒賣,還記得以前最喜歡食那裡的鹵水生腸,生腸串得密密麻麻份量頗多,放入鹵水汁略略淥一下才端上來,熱熱的爽脆入味!但就從未試過入內食車仔麵,想不到今次反而是由朋友帶路來獻出第一次......店内環境較狹窄,座位亦不算多,但尚算整潔,比起一般的地道街坊車仔檔已好多了,打開餐牌望望,真的讓筆者大開眼界,點餸紙足有四十多款餸菜,除了一般的魚蛋豬皮外,想不到連花膠扒、姬松茸、海南雞、豬軟骨
