To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

北角區最好的街邊小吃店

小小店子，小得幾乎沒法容納座位的米之蓮小吃店，在北角區應該很有名，每次去都有街坊在排隊。雖然座位設在馬路上，但街頭小吃坐在街邊吃就是有風味。隔了好一段時間沒有光顧，雖然最近價格上漲了一點點，但亦無減我對它的喜愛。每次一定會叫擔擔麵、生煎包、鍋貼、還有燒賣（超彈牙！）真的百吃不厭。下午三時後才開賣的蔥油餅，今天第一次試吃了。＄5一大塊，熱呼呼的衝葱香撲鼻，真的非常好吃！很推薦。下次再到訪一定試吃更多未吃過的菜式。（蔥油餅太好吃，吃了一大半才記起沒有拍照。）
