To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 十多二十年前,大快活的出品總給我一種「劣」的感覺,唯一可以吃的東西是下午茶炸雞肶紅豆冰。今晚,心血來潮想吃個鐵板扒餐,於是再比多個機會大快活,點了一個黑椒雜扒鐵板和咕嚕肉飯,兩個餐連飲品只是一百元鬆d,比起很多茶餐廳的晚市價格便宜得多。先講黑椒雜扒鐵板,有牛柳、豬扒、雞肶、珍寶腸,再配粟米肉粒飯和飲品,份量相當很,足夠一個大食的男人,而味道已不再「劣」,肉有肉味而不是鬆肉粉味。至咕嚕肉飯,更有酒樓的質素。這餐真是對大快活的印像完全改變。
