記得一次無意之間試食過經過油麻地站A出口,當時整粢飯嘅位置仲喺門口出邊,見到客人叫粢飯,店員就會有飯桶,用飯殼舀出熱騰騰糯米飯,然後立即用布包住,壓平,放上肉鬆榨菜同油炸鬼,大力捲實,再放入膠袋,新鮮熱辣辣嘅粢飯就食得。自從見到佢係即場整,之後基本上每次經過油麻地,都會買佢哋嘅粢飯,尤其是冬天,不論堂食外賣。疫情期間好耐都冇嚟過油麻地,今次嚟到佢好似裝修過,乾淨咗,以前喺出邊做粢飯的位置改咗去入邊整,但依然係新鮮嘅,即叫即整嘅傳統。所以保持到油炸鬼嘅脆度,肉鬆又唔會過分濕潤,正,畢竟能夠做到即叫即整嘅小店已經冇乜幾間。雖然佢出名其他腸粉燒賣魚蛋等等嘅香港小食,但我仍然鍾情粢飯。
