To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

雖然英文有congee及porridge等辭語,但西方其實沒有吃粥的習慣和文化,一家粥店要被米芝蓮評選為推介餐廳,實在不容易,偏偏靠得住就突圍成功。我是上環生記和正斗(何洪記)的長期粉絲,有點先入為主地對其他粥店不太有信心,但靠得住既然自稱congee king粥王、絕無味精…,應該一試無妨吧。先來一碗豬膶牛肉粥,豬膶是新鮮緊熟的黃沙膶,絕對不下於生記,牛肉是用了梳打,沒牛肉味,但人家沒推介自家的牛肉,是我自己點錯了。粥底用真米煲成,不是用粥料開成,而且充滿鮮魚味,像在吃一碗魚湯,果然靠得住。皇牌魚皮,又厚又脆,可惜缺了豬油和麻油,薑絲也太少,否則更好!以後吃粥又多一個好的選擇了。
