我同朋友星期日晚去咗幫襯位於太子嘅「HANDS - Craft Beer & Magic」,上網見到呢間酒吧餐廳行魔術主題🪄,好特別咁喎,令我相當期待。We visited “HANDS - Craft Beer & Magic”, a bar restaurant in Prince Edward on Sunday night. The resto features Magic theme, which is so special in town. The service of this resto was exceptionally good. For example, one of the staff (Jason) who carefully observed the needs of customers, and provided tissue to my friend who kept sweat

The service of this resto was exceptionally good. For example, one of the staff (Jason) who carefully observed the needs of customers, and provided tissue to my friend who kept sweating. Moreover, he knew every details of the food & drink menus.
There were a wide variety of food choices, and they were not pricey at all (say within $1xx per course). The resto offered quite many fusion food that were unique and impressive.

Homemade Duck Confit with Mashed Avocado($178), the staff introduced that the duck confit was slightly different from the traditional French recipe. The duck meat was tender and flavoured with homemade sauce. Side dish could choose between mashed potato and avocado. The latter was keto-friendly and tasted unexpectedly good.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Mapo Tofu Sauce($128), the dish was baked hot. Despite the loads of cheese, it was not as greasy as expected. The combination of Mac & Cheese and Mapo Tofu was a creative and good match. I recommend to finish the dish ASAP, otherwise the cheese would stick together.

Deep-fried Spicy Sichuan Chicken Cartilage($88), this snack was served best with alcohol. The chicken cartilage was very crispy and flavoured with Sichuan “Mala” spice. It was definitely mouth-watering and would be good for sharing with such big portion.
For drinks, resto offered ranges of draft beers and craft gins. Staff knew every details of each drink and could make sound recommendations. We thus ordered Lone Bee Sparkling Manuka Mead ($98) and Rose Butterfly Pea Flower Sparkling Mocktail($68). This mead was endorsed by Celebrity Chef, Jamie Oliver on Instagram. It was made with New Zealand Manuka with a natural sweetness, which I think was suitable for beginners. The purple mocktail was brewed in Hong Kong and did not taste artificially. When adding lemon juice, there would be a second experience.
It came to the magic part after finishing the dinner. Due to the impact of COVID-19, it might not be allowed to stage the performance. Instead, it was replaced by poker magic.
Residential magician comes to the resto every Thursday to Saturday night. Staff knowing magic would substitute for other nights, for example, Jason. The performance was perfect with his skilful technique. His sense of humour and interaction made it even better.
The resto would collect opinions from customers on the magic performances. We could pay tips as an encouragement to the magicians.
Lastly, the beautiful environment here was so instagrammable. I hereby attached the photos for sharing.
To conclude, HANDS was excellent in all aspects. All staff members were professional and strived to provide the best experiences to customers. I would definitely recommend this resto to my friends and bring them here for birthday celebration!
