To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 我地一行4人由新城市慢慢行到過去,都係要等位,不過我地係等小菜位就快少少囉,約10分鐘就入座喇。大家都等到餓,成8點幾,嗱嗱淋揀好6個餸飯都唔使要喇。① 泡椒鳳爪 ($32) – 泡椒真係辣得超入味夠辣又酸,鳳爪都爽口。② 瑤柱上湯雜菜煲 ($62) – 當見到白雪雪的上湯來到我本是很怕的,因為我唔鍾意所有白色湯底.....朋友試過係魚湯,講明唔腥我才敢試,又真係唔腥且湯質幾濃。材料有粉絲、蝦乾、小唐菜、腐竹、金菇及瑤柱絲,大大粒蝦乾𡁻多幾下都仲出味,正!③ 京都沙拉骨 ($83) – 好多沙律牆吱上面..我冇食,見友人都幾食得仲清哂,話OK喎。④ 加拿大龍蝦伊麵 (每隻$78) – 其實本來都冇乜期望,怕平得滯會整得唔好,誰不知又OK哠,雖然芝士汁濃但唔夠芝士味,但龍蝦肉質結實大大件,配上軟硬適中的蛋麵都幾好噃。⑤ 芥末雲耳 ($32) – 呢個係朋友點比我食嘅,雲耳好爽,帶著芥末味嘅汁,有少少攻鼻,仲有少量爽口芹菜,好味。⑥ 重慶辣雞煲 (半隻$88) – 食到最後雞煲材出現,雞都幾滑,辣椒乾好香,不過略嫌唔夠辣。一路傾慢慢食,都可以食足兩個鐘,仲係清哂所有餸唔嘥野,都係慢食好,最

一路傾慢慢食,都可以食足兩個鐘,仲係清哂所有餸唔嘥野,都係慢食好,最怕食了不知何味快快食完就走,雖然我係最憎食中餐,不過同老友聚埋食都唔錯。
