Bread Street Kitchen & Bar在2014年挾地獄廚神Gordan Ramsay之名氣落戶在蘭桂坊,餐廳開業嘅時候,各路老饕、吃貨蜂擁而至。記得當時,在網上訂位至少三個月後才能品嘗到,而我們也趁着熱潮來了潮聖。那次的印象是,原來經廚神指點的餐廳也不外如是。隔了大概兩年嘅時間,今日重臨舊地。餐廳氣氛依舊relaxing,黑白格紋地磚配以泥水牆的復古裝修依舊型格。座位同座位之間空間感充足,唔會有壓迫感。好,講返食物。Set lunch $178 - 2 course, $238 - 3 course,主菜如果揀牛扒要加$148。先來牛油和麵包,麵包有三款,賣相唔錯,但係拎上手已經冷卻,口感變得乾而硬,隨口咬兩啖就食唔落去了。。。頭盤大家都揀咗Pig croquette, 呢個炸豬肉丸子都幾好味,外面炸得香脆,入面係味道濃郁嘅豬肉。然後主菜我哋一人揀咗羊肩,一人揀咗牛扒。羊肩一上枱已經聞到陣陣嘅羊膻味,本身我並唔抗拒呢個味道;但係當我見到件羊肩大部份位置都係脂肪嘅時候,不禁對呢個主菜有啲失望。老實說,羊肉嘅部份的確肉質嫰滑而表面焦香,但係羊肉嘅部份真係太少喇。。。呢碟係1

切開牛扒見到嘅係鮮嫩嘅粉紅色,師傅煎扒火候控制得宜,外面帶焦香,而且將肉汁緊緊封鎖係入面。美中不足嘅係,牛扒質素一般,筋比較多,食落頗多渣的感覺。。

食到呢度,本身已經冇咩期望啦,點知甜品味道又幾好喎。

拖肥布甸香味濃郁,與焦糖醬簡直係絕配。暖嘅布甸加埋clotted cream一齊食,口感層次好豐富!雖然係好甜好滯,但食下食下竟然成個食晒

呢味薄切菠蘿加熱情果醬同sorbet酸酸甜甜,好refreshing,消滯一流!

最後埋單每人大約$350,呢個價錢,其實可以有更好嘅選擇。可能都係期望太高,難免失望。短期內都應該唔會再嚟朝聖了
