To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 是日有點事要到坑口辦,就用個午飯時間走出去吧,預計不會用上太多時間,所以還是先醫好個肚,才去辦那件事,坑口地鐵最附近的食店,除了那些集團式如老麥及元字派壽司之外,想吃的都吃得七七八八了,那就倒不如走遠一點在明德那邊吃吧。小小的明德,這兒也有三所茶記,三間之中,這一所可算是最為企理,而且也是最多顧客最旺場,不知食物方面,又是否為當中最好的了。知道此店有菠蘿油吃,立時癮起,不過要吃菠蘿油的同時,也要再另點東西,畢竟一個菠蘿油是吃不飽的,本來想叫碗麵,再加個菠蘿油茶餐,無奈菠蘿油加奶茶的餐,要到下午茶時段才有,孰跟店員說唯有單點之際,赫然見到本人要點的麵食,其實可以優惠價加杯奶茶,但那店員由頭到尾從來沒示意過可以如此,不知他是明知,還是詐作不知,還是懶得一點積極性也沒有了。食物未上桌,奶茶已經先到步,奶茶用上膠杯盛起來,不過真的非常夠熱,用鼻子嗅一下,有種感覺很熟悉的茶香,再呷一口就明白了,這個味道及氣味都非常之大家樂,其茶味及奶香的程度,及當中的比例,都是大家樂的味道,茶身雖然不太挺身,但還算順喉,而且那陣茶香也真的還不錯,不過茶風明顯不夠濃,那陣茶的甘味在口中只能稍縱即逝。本人很想吃的菠

本人很想吃的菠蘿油來了,菠蘿油呈微暖,包身不大不小,非常標準,那面層的酥油皮都夠脆,不過就那陣牛油味,及蛋味都不夠強,皮來得不夠香,而且包身不太鬆軟,可能新鮮出爐的話會好一點,另一主角鮮油非常細少,幸而塊鮮油幾厚,慳吝一點來吃,一小角配大口包,總算能每口都有鮮油香,不過由於實在是慳吝了一點,所以那個豐腴的快感就大大下降了。
台北牛腩麵的湯式很味精

麵食要了一個台北牛腩麵,有別於一貫沉色而清澈的牛肉湯,湯頭看上來透光度低而淺色,湯底感覺很味精,而麵條幼得如即食麵,又沒嚼勁,這感覺有如在超市買了包即食的味千拉麵回家自己煮,不過多了點牛肉色及紅蘿蔔的甜味,這算是難得嗎?

除了紅蘿蔔之外,麵還有不少白蘿蔔,兩者都吸飽了味精湯,味道當然夠濃夠惹味,加上蘿蔔自身夠甜又無渣,其實也不錯。

牛肉麵用了牛腩,雖有感有點怪,不過其實店家已經在餐牌上告訴了大家這個事實,牛睟厚身的切成了方塊狀,厚度適中,瘦肉的底面都有點肥膏及筋膜,肉質及咬口不差,集爽彈及脂香於一身,如果那瘦肉部份能再有鬆腍一點,那就更好了。

吃得飽飽的,雖然說不上是什麼出色之作,但三十七元五角吃到自己想吃的東西,也還不錯的了。
