Restaurant: Siam Garden

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一向甚少寫食評,但這次我必須分享這不愉快的經曆。光顧了這餐館不少次,其味道的確不錯,尤其喜愛其海南雞飯,是北角少有的高水準。可惜店內某位職員,看似已經是經理級,經常負責於櫃檯收錢及處理來電訂檯及菜單事宜,每次對客人都不愛理睬,下單時也是黑口黑面。但當您是貴賓或熟客,則會恭恭敬敬,態度為之180度轉變。前兩天,品嘗完下午茶的海南雞飯後,到櫃面付錢,可能是影響了他做其它工作的關系,找錢給我的時候,就是一手把找給我的兩蚊,不屑地拋於櫃檯面上給我,雖說我只是光顧了30幾蚊的小客,但也不該換來這種不被尊重的對待,尤其是對方是一位年紀不少,幾高級的職員。公平點說,其它的職員一向是很有禮貌的。味道再好,也不會再光顧了。
