To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

近日書展開鑼，自知讀書不多的本局長聯同副局長是日特地往會展湊熱鬧，順道增進文化氣息。參觀半天已覺身心俱疲，離去時瞥見此冰室，不假思索步入休息。本局長著小二來一牛扒飯，副局長則吃咖哩吉列豬扒飯。牛扒肉質鮮嫩，厚薄適中，水準不俗。副局長之咖哩吉豬飯甚有驚喜，因局長倆均不嗜辣，此咖喱為馬來咖啡，椰汁味濃，香而不辣，濃稠適中。豬扒非常香脆，外脆內軟，份量多，美味非常。另外凍檸茶亦為水準之作。總括而言，此冰廳食物水準高，局長倆是日精神食糧及食糧兼得，盡興而歸。
