位於水街的金興潮州菜館走打冷路線,魚飯,凍蟹,海鮮等是主打.也許是它開得晚,每次經過都看見它擠滿食宵夜的客人.但這些年來,我只來過兩次,原因是其食物質素真的不怎樣.這裡招牌是韮菜豬紅,我卻不吃豬紅,只能一邊嘴嚼半熟的韮菜,一邊從放滿海鮮的架選擇菜餚.蜆仔非常細顆,要用羹’跋’來吃;味道倒是鮮味,也許是此味受歡迎,turnover很快所以新鮮吧.看客人都是一口啤酒一口蜆,應該很滋味吧.蜆肉鮮甜,蠔仔又如何?這裡的蠔仔餅卻是又粉又霉,蠔仔乏味又韌,餅底羹是滲出油來,叫人不忍再吃,怕傷害腸胃.來一點綠葉,炒通菜卻是先拖水後快炒,這樣腐乳味怎能滲進菜葉中?實在食之無味,棄之不惜,不要怪我們浪費食物,但真的太難吃了.白粥香綿,但總不能空口狂吃淡粥,別的菜又不吸引,最後居然點了潮州三寶:菜匍,咸酸菜,炸花生,用來送粥.要墮落至點這種不考功夫的送酒小吃,這裡的食物質素如何不用再說了吧.二百多吃得滿肚怒氣,會否再來?不用錢也不會,我心意已決.
