To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今年的平安夜,妹妹他們想在家開個小型派對,相約友人W一家三口及兩位表弟約10人,為了配合節日氣氛,妹夫提議買隻火雞來應節這隻火雞的確較斤兩,應有7,8斤重(信用卡折價後$328/隻)附送兩樽醬汁打開保鮮紙後,漫漫散發出火雞的香味,但唔太濃郁.火雞肉質粗糙,只有雞胸部位比較少少幼滑,而且肉身味淡,要釀些醬汁食才覺得好味些至於兩款醬汁,黑醬汁味濃郁些,燒烤汁味淡些,其實兩種味道都一般般最後這隻火雞我們只食了三份之一,剩餘的部份媽咪拆骨之後用來煮了幾道菜餚,分開三餐煮,有京蔥炒火雞肉絲~~火雞骨煲粥~~火雞肉絲炒米粉~~炸火雞球~~咖哩粟米火雞粒,簡直物盡其用,絕不浪費,而且每道菜都得到我們一致稱讚媽咪今次真係好讚呀
