自從日本平價迴轉壽司店壽司郎進軍香港後,人氣一直居高不下,以應用程式網上訂座至少亦要預約至一個月後,據稱直接到訪取籌起碼等候三個小時更是見慣不怪,所以一直沒有決心前往一試。碰巧之前聽朋友說現時排隊時間不長,立即趁平日下午大約二時許到達黃埔分店,等候時間的確不足一個小時,而且取籌後可以於YouTube查看最新輪候狀況,可以先在附近吃點東西或閒逛一會。壽司大致分為紅、銀、金、黑四種,價錢分別為$12、$17、$22及$27,雖然我倆主要選擇紅或銀碟為主,但最後平均每人約二十多碟,人均四百餘元絕對稱不上物有所值。雖然本身壽司郎是以抵食而非以高質素見稱,但以此價錢換來此等質素同樣談不上「值」。首先,壽司方面有一大問題——飯既散又黏,有部分壽司甚至一夾即散或黏附於碟上。好評如潮的特選大吞拿魚腩切得較薄,油香以$27一件的價錢而言屬正常水平,相比之下DONKI出品便宜一截之餘卻更勝一籌。特選中吞拿魚腩質素比較參差,第一件肉質死實之餘油香欠奉,但之後於迴轉帶再取一件則相對軟嫩,反而醬烤特選中吞拿魚腩更加豐潤出色。三文魚腩有鹽燒或田樂醬等多款配搭,每款都滿意之上勝在肉質肥美;鹽味牛排與壽喜燒牛排價格相
