每次一提起太子,相信大家第一時間一定會聯想到花墟,不過其實除咗「花」之外,太子都有唔少美食。早幾日睇 TVB 搵食飯團,得知花園街開咗間台式蝦煲專門店「蝦棧」。據說店裡的蝦煲,源自台灣,全部用上大頭蝦入饌,而當中最常見的款式,就包括有胡椒蝦、奶油蝦等。由於未嘗過大頭蝦煲,所以這晚下班後就特意過來一試。拉開趟門,店內地方細小,分成兩個用餐區,近門口處設有三數張四人檯。再往內走,入面空間不大,座位打直排開,以二人方桌為主,感覺有點逼狹。見時間尚早,店裡食客不多,立即揀個靠牆嘅單邊位坐下來。翻開摺頁式嘅餐牌,有蝦類、肉類、飯麵類、小食、鍋物、時蔬、甜品、飲品及特飲,選擇唔算特別豐富,不過蝦煲就有成 10 款,除了先前提過嘅胡椒蝦、奶油蝦外,仲有檸檬辣蝦、麻油蝦、椒鹽蝦、三杯蝦、酸辣蝦、鹽焗蝦,同埋兩款專為香港人而設嘅避風塘蝦和鹹蛋黃蝦。既然一心為吃蝦煲而來,當然要先點個大頭蝦煲,再加幾款台式小菜。趁蝦煲未到,先去近門口嘅養蝦缸細看,隻隻蝦都活生生,而且即撈即煮,未食已先興奮。馬上開餐,先來一客港式限定嘅鹹蛋黃蝦煲 ($208),煲內共有 8 隻大頭蝦,隻隻蝦都大大隻,外層蝦殼沾滿鹹蛋黃蓉,賣

馬上開餐,先來一客港式限定嘅鹹蛋黃蝦煲 ($208),煲內共有 8 隻大頭蝦,隻隻蝦都大大隻,外層蝦殼沾滿鹹蛋黃蓉,賣相好吸引。先嘗蝦頭,蝦膏勁澎湃,入口豐腴濃惹,甘香無可匹敵,簡直是邪惡到極點。剝開蝦殼,蝦隻厚肉得來又夠曬爽身,咬下啖啖肉,再舀起煲底嘅鹹蛋黃粒伴吃,入口鹹香味濃,色香味俱全,令人忍不住食完一隻再接一隻。

接著是一道台式香腸 ($88),有墨魚腸和豬肉腸兩款,前者以墨魚汁和墨魚切粒製成,賣相漆黑,味道保留了墨魚的鮮甜;而後者豬肉腸就肥瘦適中,入口味道香濃,肉汁豐盈,以蒜片夾著一起吃,有種很豐富的甜美味道。

之後是一口炸豆腐 ($68),豆腐以長碟盛上,Size 比預期大,而且上檯時還附有海鮮醬。挾起咬下,外皮酥脆,不過入面嘅口感就唔算滑溜,反而帶點煙煙韌韌,沾海鮮醬同吃,酸甜開胃。

魯肉飯 ($58),魯肉呈亮麗焦糖色,入口醬油味不過分,而且肥瘦比例均勻,食落甘香不膩。面頭的滷蛋,蛋黃夠綿軟,蛋白亦滷得有點硬度咬頭,配上爽脆嘅日式醃蘿蔔和飽滿嘅飯粒吃,水準不俗。

壓尾揀個菜來平衡一吓,這一客是小丁香油麥菜 ($78),油麥菜份量中等,菜葉油亮翠綠,口感爽脆,味道清甜;而丁魚乾就清香不過鹹,微微甘甜,每條都煙韌有嚼勁。

飲品選了菠蘿梳打 ($38),梳打入口非常冰涼,而且甜度不高,加上杯邊嘅菠蘿大大片,既飲得又食得,夠曬清爽。

甜品揀咗南瓜雪糕 ($68),南瓜雪糕以原隻南瓜盛著,外形的的骰骰,賣相超吸引。用匙舀起,有好濃嘅南瓜味,而且口感非常滑溜,入口有奶香,為這頓晚餐劃上一個美滿嘅 Ending。
