To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 朋友生日,係度擺左兩圍,大家都中意打牌,當然4點一開始就黎打,打到8點起菜,先來有個拼盤(海蜇,炸豆腐燒肉同埋燒熳魚)無食燒肉,其他三款都唔錯,其中熳魚最好味,仲脆脆地,好好味啊~~之後有芝士龍蝦伊面,呢味ok,龍蝦肉都幾爽,不過唔夠芝士;又有西芹炒尤,味道一般,無乜特別;再來燒雞;雞無乜味;花膠螺肉湯,花膠好味,(當然不及屋企亞媽煲的咁正)不過始終唔太中意飲酒樓的湯,因為味精太重;之後有荷葉飯,我巳經飽飽地,只食左兩啖,不過都幾好味喎;再來的水餃巳經無食;不過有人裝完又裝,我諗都唔差掛~~最後唔少得梗係壽包,糖水,生果,壽包食左少少,都唔錯喎~~糖水係紅豆沙,無食,生果都係行貨;埋單每人二百,總括來講我覺得係唔錯既;(因為舊年係皇上皇擺左三圍,不過大家都覺得麻麻,所以今年試下寶湖,不過呢間較上環果間細少少;另外呢度什市點心都幾抵的,有時星期六都會同同事去食,都Ok ga)
