To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

一年一度聖誕節快到了,又是阿Jam和阿Tea一起放鬆的時候。下班後和阿Tea相約於尖沙咀地鐵站找地方吃晚餐。店家附近不難找到各式食肆臨立,可謂各式其適。今次因為想吃西餐關係於是一路走來找到店家,真的直接來不像阿Jam和阿Tea般慢慢走的話大約花十分鐘左右吧。甫進去店家很細心的領位,並介紹相關菜式。店家不久端上四款來自不同產地(Live Oyster /美國; Gillardeau, Majestic, Normandy/法國)的生蠔。四種生蠔新鮮肥美,味道迥異。美國產地的相對沒有太強的海水味,法國產地則帶有淡鹽又或鹽味會較重。店家並配上自家製的醬佐以食用。之後店家端上Sweet Corn Soup (粟米湯)和面包。阿Tea覺得湯的質感幼滑。阿Jam則覺得湯質感可以再幼滑一點,否則予人感覺好像是在喝一碗沒有加入味精的罐頭粟米湯,有點令人失落。美食當然要配一杯合宜的飲品。阿Tea點了當月的推薦飲料(wine of the month)—雞尾酒Santa Claus ($78/glass),阿Jam則點了意大利白酒Prosecco ($70/glass)。Santa Claus用了烈酒(C

美食當然要配一杯合宜的飲品。阿Tea點了當月的推薦飲料(wine of the month)—雞尾酒Santa Claus ($78/glass),阿Jam則點了意大利白酒Prosecco ($70/glass)。Santa Claus用了烈酒(Cognac)混和之故,口感偏辛和乾烈,但加入了水果關係故口感阿Tea還可接受。至於白酒,阿Jam覺得質感和香檳有點相似。

Green Salad with Turkey (燒火雞雜菜沙律): 阿Tea覺得這道菜沒有太大驚喜,火雞片、沙律菜、意大利黑醋,都是西餐前菜必備的菜式。也許這道菜志不在給食客驚喜,而是準備食客吃主菜吧。它的意大利黑醋應該是拌了蜜糖,吃上去帶有甜味,很是開胃。

Rolled Sole Fillet with Cheese and Seasonal Vegetables (芝士龍脷魚卷配時蔬): 這個是阿Tea點的主菜。不得不讚的是,龍脷魚質感嫩滑,肉汁鎖在魚內,魚的味道一流!由此可見,食材的質素是如此重要。碟旁的薯菜也很好吃。惟一要說的就是魚塊頂部的芝士,如果能改成Gouda Cheese又或是Fontina Cheese這類半軟芝士,相信更能帶出魚的味道。

Char-Grilled US Pork Rack wit Honey Mustard (炭燒美國蜜糖芥末豬鞍): 這個是阿Jam點的主菜。阿Jam和阿Tea一樣覺得薯菜做得出色,令人一想再吃。至於主角豬鞍,阿Jam覺得肉烤得剛好,不會太老也不會過生,技巧拿捏得相當好。

Passion Fruit cheese cake (熱情果芝士蛋糕): 甜點不會太甜也不會太飽,阿Tea最欣賞就是碟旁邊的拉花裝飾,讓食客有視覺上的享受。熱情果本身清新,可清口腔中殘留的味道。
