友人為老公慶祝生日,選了以美式扒類作主打的the Chop House。一把屠刀作為店方的標誌,感覺十分酷!餐廳華麗中不失型格,四人食桌寬闊得很,加上舒適的沙發皮椅,空間感十足。餐廳氣氛熱鬧,浪漫情調欠奉,不過若然是朋友飯局可另作别論,可以輕鬆用餐,不用過於拘謹。未用餐前,點了Jug Rose Sangria($298)邊喝邊聊。以紅酒混入荔枝、草莓、香橙等新鮮水果。酒味重,果味更重,非常易入口,若然酒量淺的會在不覺之間醉倒。Half a dozen Oysters($135)價錢十分吸引,没有説明產地是有點冒險,但質素令人喜岀望外。生蠔有淡淡海水味,而且相當新鮮,如此價格確是值得一試。沙律選了Chop chop salad ($128),蜜糖芥末醬配搭生菜、紅椒、牛油果、酸豆、蘑菇、紅菜頭等沙律菜,口感豐富,燒雞一點不嚡口,美味得很。Speghetti Carbonara ($155)黏稠的汁醬牢牢掛在al dente的意粉上,黏稠的醬汁滿有芝香和蛋香,配上香口的煙肉相當惹味,只是份量有點偏少。主菜方面,先上桌的是USDA Prime Grain Fed Rib Eye(12oz)(

生日甜品,隨另外兩款單點甜品一併送上。這兒的甜品走的是美式甜膩風,賣相吸引,即使送贈的甜品也是精緻可人。最出色的是Chocolate Fudge Cake($70),朱古力軟心蛋糕當中夾雜不少香脆果仁,墊底的是特濃巧克力脆餅,配上一大球呍呢拿雪糕,甜膩又邪惡,巧克力迷該會十分喜歡。
