To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 太湖海鮮城為香港字號老的海鮮酒家,還有一個分店在九龍尖沙咀。這次到訪的太湖海鮮城,在銅鑼灣廣場二期,屬於樓上鋪,一進門口,便看見大量的奬項,可謂獲獎無數。其實過往曾多次到訪,但這次只有二人,故只是簡單的點了一下當天的例湯是霸王花煲豬骨(忘記拍照),湯料很足,火候足夠,故喝出湯的味道。看見傍邊點了清蒸蟶子王,所以我們也點,價格非常優惠,一隻只需港幣$28。我們選擇蒜蓉粉絲蒸,味道很棒干燒四季豆,不過不失這道蒸饍是全晚最愛,有子薑和另一材料(忘記全名),故菜式有酸酸甜甜的味道,非常開胃。甜點有蛋散、芝麻球和紅豆湯水送贈,超值優惠。
