To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 記得細個一家人有咩慶祝就去北京樓… 記得我地叫個片皮鴨大家好開心,高檔、高質、服務好的京菜… 甚至屋企最大男孫當年都係喺北京樓擺滿月酒。.多年無去,今日屋企人興起不如去食!中伏。.份量少、油膩到極、平庸到不能再平庸。服務差。叫左個四人套餐竟然成餐飯一隻碗碟都無換過。.最癲係碟片皮鴨:d皮又痴、又油,連埋d牛油紙一疊上一pat咁,完全唔係以前乾身有粉嗰種。隻聲稱「原隻」上嘅鴨係無殼,超肥,鴨皮唔脆,得個油字。套餐其他野都係平平庸庸,收費卻係高檔餐廳的收費。.服務亦令人歎為觀止。碟碟野都無羹,好多碟野係有湯嘅,我地…用筷子夾湯?問佢有無紙巾,佢拎左疊酒精紙黎,然後話無乾得濕… 大佬,真係用酒精紙抹嘴咩?終於食玩叫埋單,叫左三次先真係有得埋。仲有,d侍應姐姐係譚仔口音,我地試過係真心聽唔明佢講乜,要講多幾次先估到。又試過幾個人企係度無野做,叫埋黎問佢地拎d野,佢竟然話「你可以自己過去拎架」然後繼續棟喺度。.今日嘅北京樓,只係個名同以前一樣。感覺似富X,價錢卻高過富X多多聲。
